Mines in the garage not a drop of snow. But I noticed an intake gurgling sound at idle. Any ideas what it is? It sounds like a sink draining and gurgling.

Figured out what it was, my catch can was full to the top with fluid. In the past it was the oil/gas/water mix, this time it seemed to be all condensation and rather clear. I pulled the catch can hoses and ran goo gone through them and flushed them with hot water, they were practically clogged with what looked like white cake icing. The smell is unbearable.

Ry, iirc running a catch can in the winter it can freeze up. Whether in the hoses or the reservoir. Babying your car saved you a **** ton of money btw. You caught it early before it was completely clogged and backed up. You run engine damage issues at that point.

Thanks, yea it literally filled an entire wine bottle. I read in the past that CC's build up quicker during the winter, I'll just make sure to empty it more often which doesn't really bother me. I have a jug of the crap I pulled out overall and I'm just glad it's not in my intercoolers, piping or turbo.
Hey Jimbo, thanks for posting, looking forward to seeing you out on Wed March 21st!

I am not trying to be disrespectful or steal anyone's thunder but our local VW dealership is allowing us this Friday to hold our weekly meet at their indoor service center. This is the 1st time they are allow us to have this so we are inviting other VW clubs/meets/groups to join us but please keep it peaceful & respectful (to other dub owners, the local neighborhood and especially VW Union Service Center). No burn outs, racing or load noise Union PD does not play.
This will be this Friday, January 27th starting around 8:30pm. Our local group UCEuro will be there.
Location:
Union VW Service Center
1180 Springfield Rd (Service Dept.)

GSE guys, if you are around this Friday please head out to support this meet. It sounds like they have a great opportunity for their meet location, I know our club guys can only contribute to the positive impression of this meet.
Pumped to have you out, come meet the guys at the Spring opener on Wed March 21st then roll with us to our events, you'll find we are very laid back but organized when it comes to our cruises and DubRun event.

Guys, for anybody who hasn't looked at the facebook page. Those of us going down to the meet in Union, NJ Friday night are meeting around 7:30-8ish at the normal meeting spot at the Lowes in Butler. We are then cruising down to the meet in Union. It is a 45 minute or less drive.
Ryan, I sent you a PM if you wanna give us flyers.
