Finally 2 weeks sitting in US Customs. Full Color MFD Golf R Instrument Clusters have arrived.

Custom Made by VDO for limited run for US Based Cars. Only 10 of these were made.
4 of them are here in the country !!!

Yes. Also, the fuel gauge has the correct pattern, but the tach and temp do not.

Just to clear things up.

There is no such a thing as OEM Golf R Color MFD Cluster for USA.

Simens VDO made 10 of these that fit our cars and this is best it will ever be. It's for those that want Full color MFD.

Now if you have steady hands, you can remove the needles and play with backings on the cluster from your current R. It is not that hard, but you really have to have patience and steady movements to get the needles off the cluster, which I might attempt down the line on my own cluster.

i don't have my R yet, so I don't know what the stock MFD looks like. The full color MFD even shows the VW logo and other graphics.. was wondering if ours does it in black and white..

Installed gloss black front VW emblem, looks way better.

Tomorrow the Neuspeed RSE14's w/ Conti. ExtremeContact DW are getting thrown on. I'll be using the OEM center caps & R valve stem caps which should be a nice touch. Sunday will be the Neuspeed Sport Springs. Busy weekend for the R
