Give me a couple of minutes and I'll look into learning how to get them on here.

So far far so good-feels like the race controller. I need more time to familiarize myself with it as far as braking enhancement
Awesome, thanks for getting back to me. I can't wait to get mine.

pics would be pointless since they are just of black visors. i know if you do a search you should be able to find the write up though. i just took them out (not necessary but i did it at my work desk today) with the one t20 screw and pushed them toward the windshield. unplugged the plug and shazaam! soaked a blue shop rag in 91% (rec 99% if you can find it) alcohol and let it sit for about 30-45 mins. pulled the sticker right off and cleaned the remaining bits of glue. put a little bit of tire dress and buffed it off with a dingleberry free towel and reinstalled to enjoy.

i did have to have a interior guy touch it up a little because i couldnt get 100% of the glue off though due to me using 91% alcohol.

Yeah I'm very happy with the way they came out and it only cost me $550 to get them done. I'm thinking KW V1 coilovers.

You get the idea. Sgt, there's a share dropdown on Flickr. Just set the radio button in there to BBCode, pick your resolution, and copy the snippet of code into your post.

Love the car BTW. I thought about getting my original wheels done in black and putting them on the JSW when I buy new ones for the R, but I may hold off for a bit and see where I go. Anyway, looks great! Enjoy!

I love those black wheels so much. My only complaint with the R is that we didn't get those as an optional set of wheels from the factory. Am envious of you.

Placed a rather large order with Open Road Tuning.

Also, ordered some factory sidemarkers so that I can get them painted. I just don't trust the fit of the aftermarket ones.

      All the goodies!

Compressor, Struts, BagYards for the rear, Airlifts up front (for now). We're gonna attempt the e-Level. And various other little things to complete the setup.

If it doesn't work I'll swap it out, but I'm willing to give it a try--the guy who's gonna do the install claims he can make it work. It makes me much more comfortable than the V2. Either way, the ball is rolling...

the V2 is a pretty good system. i wanted elevel at 1st and was pretty bummed when i learned it wouldnt really work without significant fabrication. but now that i have the v2 im quite happy with it.

whos doing the install, Eric Johnson?

Andrew (from ORT) is hooking me up with a dude, Brendan, from GintyFab. I haven't met him yet, but Andrew talked to him prior to me placing the order and they looked at pics online and he said he can do it. I also met up with a guy locally who has a MK4 R32 on bags (vortex user bsA41.8T) so he could show me his car, which is on e-level. He looked under my car and felt like it would be doable, and showed me the sensors on his car and I kinda have to agree with him. Obviously, I don't really know what I'm looking at but all of those things combined gave me enough confidence to at least order it and try it. The MK4 guy actually had V2 first, and only kept it for a couple of months before he switched to elevel. He said he was having all kinds of issues with his ride heights not being consistent. Like... he would put it on preset 3, drive down the driveway, change the preset to 5, and then back to 3, and the ride height would be off by as much as an inch! I'm sure if he'd kept it longer he'd have been able to work out the kinks, but I'd rather just go with elevel if I can make it work.

If all works out as planned I can give him my car for a little over a week towards the end of June b/c I'll be out of town and he can have all the time in the world to work it out.

If all works out as planned I can give him my car for a little over a week towards the end of June b/c I'll be out of town and he can have all the time in the world to work it out.
yea well as i said, good luck. the underneath of the R is similar to the mkv r32 but there are differences and those differences make it difficult to get the elevel set up. i had probably the best installers in new england do my install and they also said it was doable but would be tough and in the end i felt that it would cost more than i was willing to spend on an install and would require them to have the car for much longer than i wanted and even then there was no guarentee that with me living in boston it wouldnt crap out when i it a big hole. As much as i like accuair those ride height sensors are a really crappy part that can break very easily. i think they come from a land rover the main problem is in the front fenders, because of the sway bar and tie rods and small fender wells, you could mount the sensors but anytime you turned full lock you would hit them and knock them out of alignment or damage them.

And yea the V2 is not without its issues, and ive had it go all crazy on me, but was able to fix it by calibrating it. your buddy prob just needed to recalibrate it, that fixed mine. altho i am having a slight issue right now where its not going to my correct ride height after being aired out. but i have been working directly with airlift and am pretty sure they are going to end up sending me a new manifold, they have quite good customer service.

I've actually heard that from multiple people, that they have some of the best customer service around, which I did take into consideration. But for me, I just felt like it would make me less nervous to have the elevel. Again, it may not work, and in that case I'll probably go with the v2, but I'm willing to give it a shot.

Either way, I'm keeping my eye out for a spare vehicle in case something happens that I can't fix right away.

yea i mean as i said i orginially had the elevel and was kinda bummed when i was told it wouldnt really work. but now that ive had time to use the v2 i like it, and its a much simpler install with less potential for leaks (if you are going to run a guage with the elevel). i hear airlift is even working on an iphone app too which should be cool as i know accuair is coming out with one

Wow those talladegas look great! I always had the idea of doing this to mine. Still considering it now that I looked at your car

Visited the local Mustang AWD dyno. Left very, very sad. They don't call it the heartbreaker dyno for nothing.

Not impressed with the massive dip in the curves between 3500 and 4000 rpm with the APR Stage 1+ tune. APR will never admit it, but this car really needs a custom tune.

I'll post up the charts on my build page shortly.

He is also soon mine when we get back from SoWo. Plus my car isn't here yet either but should be next week.
