Just came back for I ride in this set up. and that's before his 2+ flash. Unreal and the sound of the APR at full throttle....you've got to hear it to appreciate it.

No way you can remove the stock downpipe without moving the drive shaft. The stock downpipe had a huge round can right from the turbo. The Apr downpipe is easier to put in than the stock one.

I got bored earlier today and took off the EVOMs intake, heatsheild, and loosened the
3 top nuts from the turbo, and from the engine bay. I hope the last one wont be as hard.

I am going to try and install it without touching the driveshaft, but I think I would need at least
a lift to attempt that, if it is possible?

Is it possible? See what this guy thinks...

Youve got to get the car way up so you can manipulate the dp around and out of its hole. I dont think you can get it around the DS but good luck!

      You've missed the video to!!!

I don't need it on a lift, the difficult section is small and doesn't require much height.

No lift, but the stocker is 1 piece, and in order to get it out, i found you have to have enough ground clearance to allow the but end to move around without hitting the ground while you manipulate the turbo flange end out of its hole. Hard enough on the MKV without a DS in the way. installing the new one should be easy peasy

You are right, the cat by the flange has to turn right 90 deg, and point down at least 45 degree,
guess I will put it on the lift, no biggie to put the intake back one and tighten those bolts.

Thanks for looking out. I assumed the DS would only be the issue, but that cat wont come out
that way it is sitting, not a chance.

went to my dealer to see if I could find a front plate bracket that fits better than the Japanese one they sent with my car. Got there just after parts/service had closed, so skulked around the lot. I think the EOS bracket will work, next step is sourcing one...

For cities in Europe. When there are **** loads of street lights, no point in having your headlights on and blinding people. They just use the city lights. Or so I've been told.

I had them on my GTI before hand, so I just carried them over. They looked much better with CSG than they do with RB. But still not to bad, with RB, I think polished would look better.

or black, to tie in with all the black bits.

I know they're not the same wheels, but the black looks wicked on the RB.

Agreed, I eventually want to get some black Neuspeed RSe14's.

I've seen painted black interlagos, didn't really look as good IMHO.

What's worse is when you do it yourself. The front is so low and just out, I've already scrapped the **** out of the underside of the front splitter on parking barriers and curbs. Meh. It's no trailer queen.
