That's a tough comparison. The 1M has Motons and a tune (353 hp / 403 torque at the wheels) so although the R feels quick it isn't in the same league as the 1M. The R is my daily driver so I'm trying to avoid mods. I suspect that will be a challenge.

Very smooth! I tried it at around 4K but it bogged down so the next time I went up a bit and it was much better. I think 4800-5K is the magic spot for the best standing launch.

Yesterday, I was trying to track down someone who had the Mk6 drain tube for the RVC, but it looks like I'll just have to rig up my own.
