Today I got her cleaned up ready to clay bar / Zaino tomorrow. First time I have tried to detail a white car though... so many little rust dots that just don't seem to want to come off. Hopefully the clay bar will do better.
Also discovered it's pretty difficult to get the slots in the stock rims clean. My fat fingers are hopeless... May need to invest in something that can get into the ends of them.
Soon she will gleam though! Tomorrow!
The clear bra got finished today. My guy managed to do the whole hood with one piece and also one piece for the front bumper, so no lines on either! Of course the fenders have lines though because I just had the front done but, as usual you really have to be looking to find them.
Also installed the correct Golf R Euro switch along with the Euro LED tails with rear fog and the wiring.
Hard wired my Passport 9500ix radar detector.
Turned off the damn horn confirmation when you lock the doors along with some other vag-com tweaks.
Gave her a bath and cleaned the windows real good since the inside had a good amount of film on them.
Tomorrow it'll get the Jeff's werkstat treatment with the prime polish and jett sealant.
Threw in the PODI FSI boost tap... and plumbed all the Boost gauge stuff in, just need to do some wiring tomorrow. Newsouth gauge pod came in, so ready to have my gauge working tomorrow. And my AFE dry high flow filter has been swapped for the OEM air filter...
Just want my HPFP to get back from APR tomorrow! And then flashing on Wednesday!
