as many of you might have read Megavideo has been seized by the feds, Kim has been arrested and his cars are now being towed.
These pics are taken in New Zealand, at his home (which if I remember is one of the most expensive in NZ) and show his collection (mainly MB's) being towed...
I'm kind of happy of seeing license plates like Mafia and such gone from the road

So now US Federal laws are enforceable WORLD WIDE, even if you do not live/operate/visit the states...
I guess we are on the way to total domination...

They better not shut down megavideo. Thats my lifeline for American shows over here in Blighty. What did he get in trouble for?
You think you hate it now. Wait til you drive it.

That sucks. Why so suddenly though? Better start downloading everything in the next couple of weeks. Is there any anyway to download the whole internet?![]()

jealous? who me? of kim?
too many MB's..and all black...meh..not very creative
don't worry, there are many other websites to remedy the loss of megavideo
one should look into where megavideo's servers were based... but I agree with you on what's happening

Just imagine if the previous occupant of the White House had done this... the complaints would've been epic. Now, not so much.![]()

I have to read more about this...
But I would like to know if ANY one in Congress has ever watched/listened to a pirated anything.
I think the world might implode, if in continued protest, Google, Facebook and Wiki shutdown completely until PIPA and SOPA was repealed (if it goes into affect).

Sounds like M'sieur Kim Dotcom (apparently his new legal last name) is the same gentleman who ran Kimble.org back in the Dot Com days and won the first Gumball Rally in his E55 AMG..
Schmuck or not, he sure as hell did have a sick car collection..
Yeah.. looks like he's got a friggin' giraffe in that first pic, waaay out on the top left. Badass.

Haha.
The hacking group Anonymous reacted to the news almost instantly by launching one of their biggest attacks to date. They took down the Universal Music, RIAA (the record industry’s lobbying arm), MPAA (the movie industry’s lobbying arm), and Department of Justice websites.

Yeah.. I mean why would we bother going after Bin Ladin, he never lived or operated in the States? Shame on the US government for protecting its citizens.
With the internet, "operating" is questionable if he directly markets to certain countries, and with the greater majority of IP coming from the US in the form of music and movies, the damage certainly effects US companies. I am willing to bet a substantial amount of Kim's profits came from the united states, which is listed as $175 Million.

This is just the tip of the ice berg of what's coming. Enjoy your liberty now.

Imagine if the previous occupant of the White House had taken care of Osama. The ball-licking would've been epic. Now, not so much.
And don't get me wrong, I do feel bad for the seven people who used Megaupload for legitimate purposes, but anybody who's pretending that it was a clean operation is absolutely kidding themselves.

"You're just jealous!!"
Gimme a break. That is such a 3rd grade response. If I have a negative opinion toward someone's lifestyle (particularly if it is a flamboyant lifestyle) it by no means implies I'm jealous. Jealousy would mean you want to be like that person or you want something of theirs - I would want no part of being a big, fat loudmouth rich guy.
Piles of money and a garage full of cool cars would be nice, sure. But that doesn't mean I walk around feeling jealous of anyone that has that. I'm pretty satisfied with my life, thank you very much.

Unlike the 24/7 coverage for the month afterwards that we did get? Covers on all the mags? Yeah, it passed unnoticed...
Again, where's the outrage against the current admin?
So why blow past the basics - such as getting a judge to ok this - and just fly on a GJ? (you can read the entire filing @ the Washington Post - and it's weak. Incredibly weak. As in two good lawyers on a bad day will get 90% tossed weak). And don't get me wrong, I do feel bad for the seven people who used Megaupload for legitimate purposes, but anybody who's pretending that it was a clean operation is absolutely kidding themselves.
