There have been many threads regarding different intakes for the MkV platform. This is going to be a comprehensive list of the most common intake systems. Also, feel free to leave a picture of your vehicle with details on your intake brand.

If I am missing something, feel free to PM me and I will add it to this thread.

Please, refrain from quoting full images and videos. Image quotes tend to clutter a thread.

My biggest issue, is that people say searching takes too long, or you can't find any information. I made this thread today in 40 minutes, which includes searching. Granted, I may have left a few out, but this is a start. I know this will not eliminate the "wut should i buy" threads, but it should slow them down and provide much information to all.

First, let me just say that it is an honor to have you in one of my threads. Second, I acutally checked my R32 engine bay last night for this. I was out bombing on back un-plowed roads and parking lots so I expected it. But none thankfully.

Everyone, do me a favor. If you post a picture, once you see it added to post number 2, please take your picture out of your post. This will avoid clutter. You can also PM me a picture as well and I will add. Thanks!

      Nice thread.

Any of you notice a real difference between those intakes with air diverts and those without? Like the tru seal / p-flos vs. ones without it? Just curious, I got the AEM knockoff one but I've always wondered if it makes any difference...
