playing in the snow

Hey guys and gals,

My friends and I were messing around this weekend because here on long Island we got our first snow fall. I videoed the whole time. I threw together this little edit of all of it. Check it out! Positive feedback would be appreciated. Take note that this is not at all serious and I am just learning how to do video.

Don't take me too seriously. I'm just bored with all the people in the Video forum posting up videos of cars. Most of which are of cars that are parked.

If you guys have access to cameras, why aren't you making something more? Sit down and make a story and video that.

That will better test and teach you video and editing technique.

hah alright, sorry if i was immediately defensive i've posted another video on another forum once before and everyone was so quick to talk Sh*t. well yeah i would really like to do that, i have a video im planning with my friend and his subaru forester. except, I use imovie hd to edit and it really is not all that good.

Yeah, you should def look into real editing software if you're serious about making videos, or going to school for it.

Is that jeep turbo charged?!

Also what camera did you shoot this with? I don't think I'd trust my camera on the side of a car, nevermind in snow conditions.


As far as feedback: I don't think the music really fits the imagery once the cars get moving. Also you've got a couple of really awkward jump cuts in there. Why does the music just drop out at the end?

hah, everyone always thinks that about the jeep. the jeep has a stroked motor and a different crank in it so thats why it screams like that. as far as camera i shot with two cameras, my contour roam camera and my canon 60d. the music also drops out like that because in imovie there is no fade out for any audio(pretty lame if you ask me).i really would like better video editing software.
