Car got rear ended by a WOMAN in a parking lot... She left a note saying "Sorry " how do you back into a parked car... Absolutely irate.

wow, i'm sorry. that really pisses me off. A woman tried to pull that kinda Sh*t to me back in the day. i picked up my lil sis at swimming lessons, she backed into my car she looked back then tried to drive off pulling off my front bumper! i jumped in front of her car made her stop called the cops told them she tried to leave, she claimed she wasn't and didn't know she hit my car. her own 5 or 6 year old son sold her out and said, "Yes you did mommy. You said crap i hit that car then started to drive." so she got a ticket for attempting to leave a scene of an accident.

nothing pisses me off more than shady people like that.

^^ holy crap!!! That's terrible. I hope her ins paid for it.

Tell me about it. It's women in parking lots. I've seen 5+ women in pos cars or even nice ones back into somebody, look around, then drive away. If I was stupid enough to hit somebody I'd at least do the right thing. Tsk Tsk

The bumper isn't THAT bad. Just a couple small cracks. But after all the work and cash that went into refinishing it, it still sucks.

    OK.

Bumper back to somewhat normal. CHECK

Just bought some wheels and they will be here later this week, pics of unboxing to come

The air ride is getting installed THIS WEEKEND on my friends car which means his coilovers will FINALLY be mine. Well worth the wait for RS2's for 400 bucks

Since my last post not much has happened. I bought LED plate bulbs but not a load equalizer so I wont be messing with that until it gets warmer out.

Thanks for the patience and dont hate on me too much when you see my new wheels

    ^^ thanks!

I should have them by the end of the week. The seller is shipping today. I'm not 100% thrilled about them but I like them to start. Suspension just matters much more to me.

It was like 60 degrees here in wisconsin today so I had to hand wash her inside and out.. Feels good to have a clean car in the beginning in march

I know its STILL not lowered but I'm not going to complain when they are 400 bucks. Plus it will probably rain fury in the form of snow here out of nowhere like it always does when least expected so I'm not worried. Ill get pictures posted of the wheels when they arrive. They were sent out yesterday so im hoping they get here by saturday. Enough with the talk, try not to throw up from all the wheel gap

Out of curiosity, how did you paint the side skirts and the rear bumper? The new paint is spot on!

Sanded the plastic down to smooth with a power sander. Then hand sanded the edges atc. Then cleaned them with lacquer thinner and a towel. Then dusted on a small amt of primer. Then wet sanded them. Then put on another coat of primer. Let it dry and took everything into a local paint shop. They sprayed the pieces candy white and clear coat for $200! Hope that helped. If you plan to do it and have further questions, pm me

    Update: 3/11/12

Got the wheels!! Well, two of them.. Fedex needs to get their sh!t together

They came in pretty decent shape, for $450 I will not complain. Just so you guys know they are NOT staying this color. They are already in the process of being sanded down to be sprayed candy white. They are AB EINTZ monoblock reps made in germany only. It was a CHORE finding specs on these. They are 18x8.5 all around and as youll see sit pretty nicely. I bought 215/40/18 pirelli all around and they should be later this week along with the hubcentric rings and other two wheels.

Anyway, on to the pictures. These are kind of teaser pics because I dont want you guys hating my wheels before you see them with suspension... Yes I know I need low. The coilovers are off my friends car and are going on saturday (The day before I leave for vegas )

Ill keep you guys updated with the process of refinishing the wheels. Shouldn't take long at all, as the wheels are in really good condition. Just VERY dirty

Thanks for looking. I'll update you again this week when the other two arrive.

Those are nice! I'm liking your style, especially with those wheels, but i may be bias cause i am working on refinishing some merc reps also.

Are those wheels currently brown? that could actually look kinda cool, if it's like a cocoa kind of color... so what's the game plan for the new paint scheme for the wheels? will they be entirely white, or just the faces with polished lips?

They are dark chocolate so they give a Brown tint in the light. I don't like it in person.

We're going white all the way around
