I'm guessing no, but I've never done the drive myself.

One week left to register... go to http://www.longballrally.com/registration.php and take two minutes to git-r-done!

I will be driving through new Jersey tomorrow and can afford to pick up an ezpass or two for those who can guarantee they will return payment.

      nope, you should be good

I would add a final stop for gas before you get too far into the area, it will be more expensive once you get there. I should know this week if I can join in.

Good call. Everyone, let's assume we will refill when we are 50 miles out or so. I will add one to the itinerary the day of the trip.

I'm figuring at least $300 just for travel gas. $60 per tank, figure 350 miles out of a tank to be on the safe side, 1800 miles there and back, 5-6 tanks. Sucks. We are gonna be pretty conservative driving down, hopefully we will pull 400+ miles per tank. I know it won't be the most fun drive, but it makes the most sense.

I won't be getting anything better than about 24-26mpg if im being a major conservative!! I am hoping to get about 325 miles per tank!!!

Averaging 26 mpg with our roughly 16 gallon tanks should net 416 miles. I was used to getting 300 miles out of a tank and a couple weeks ago I started to drive really conservatively on highway jaunts to see how much I could get from one tank, I averaged around 26 mpg and returned over 400 miles.

Just set your cruise control with us and we'll do pretty well. I'll probably set it around 70-72 mph until we get to VA, where we will strictly adhere to the speed limit. A friend was pulled over there two weeks ago for going 8 mph over the limit, and all I've heard from guys on here is horror stories about that place.

I hope so!!! The best I have done was to Burlington, VT and that was around 26-27mpg. Since I dropped those thristy schricks in, I can't seem to get that high of mpg's anymore,,,lol

I'm looking at 23 mpg hwy, as long as I stay out of boost. For this long of a trip, you better believe I'm going to try. Once I get to the dragon it's a whole other story.

Curious to see if there are any photographers within the group to capture some legit rolling shots on our way down

I'm going to have a decent camera and a co-pilot, but she probably can't take pictures worth a damn. Any volunteers?

X2 for the GoPro, no photographer though. I'm sure she'll still take pictures.
