This is true, but if you purchase a shirt now, you will NOT get it in time for the rally.

everything arrived today and the merch all looks amazing.

Reg kits will be assembled tomorrow and final registration lists will be emailed to those in charge of the routes.

Hope you guys are excited, because I'm bummed I can't make it. I bet it would be a blast to rip through those turns in my coupe.

The master list I sent ya has each person's name, shirt size and where they're going to be joining up with the rally. That info will also be included on the labels that are on each of the registration kits. You should be good to go.

Hey guys be safe on the way down, I'm on the list but will be leaving Wednesday afternoonish. I'm going the same way except I'm going all the way to knoxville and then coming down into Fontana through the Dragon( extra fun when the car is loaded up) So I'll stay on the lookout for you guys. Construction, closures, etc...

I see you guys changed the route, good plan just be careful in VA don't give the troopers a reason, those guys ticket each other, ruthless...

Route should still be the same! Yeah we will be super careful in VA, it's gonna be brutal, hopefully the weather is nice so the windows can go down at least. See you there!

Tomorrow is gonna be one hell of a time crunch getting everything ready after work

Also, I'm not sure who else has to come from farther north, but I've got one of ya crashing here tomorrow night already for a little extra rest and there is still room if anyone else needs to. Leaving at 1am sucks alot more than leaving at 4am, would rather everyone is as rested as can be.

I will be home from work at 4:30 and will be putting in dogbone inserts and cleaning my air filter and any other stupid last minute prep

Also, if I have any time, I'm going to try and figure out that Google Latitude bologna so you guys can track us from my phone's location and see our progress in case we get caught up somewhere, or just to time when you meet us.

I have added a point G to the map below (didn't bother in the original posting) approximately 60 miles before we arrive in Fontana Dam to fuel up so we can get right to it in the morning instead of running on empty. It is an Exxon and it is open until 10:00pm, so if traffic screws up our arrival time we will have to look elsewhere, but we can worry about that in a pinch.

Click Here to see the route as of this post

I went ahead and updated the map on the site to reflect this, but the itinerary doesn't show the new stop. Ryan, if you want, email the info over to me and I'll get it added. If not, just make sure to let folks know that there will be that last stop. Just in case.

    Have a good time, everybody.

I got in at around 8. The roads looked good, as guys are findin out.. Police presence was light but that might have been due to how early we were on the road..

We had an amazing turnout of people and cars for the inaugural LBR dragonRUN.

Pictures are being edited all of this week, and they should be up next week at the earliest.
Let me tell ya, Esther and I captured some amazing shots and everyone will be very pleased with the results.
Thanks for your patience and stay tuned.

Great turnout. Will definitely plan to do this again next year! I still have the decals on my car too, I've been partially too lazy and partially too nostalgic from the weekend to remove them

    PICS!! PICS!!! PICS ARE HERE!!!!
Alrighty boys and girls, finally got everything uploaded and set up the way I like it.
I'm sure you've wondered for a few weeks now where they are and what was going on with them , but wait no longer, so here we go!

LBR has the pics on their flickr account: http://www.flickr.com/photos/longbal...7629636947616/
Please check them out as well as their site for future events and rallies http://www.longballrally.com/

The following link is for the gallery:

    http://getyourphotos.smugmug.com/VWR...2877096_3M2CCS

and the direct link to the slideshow:
    http://getyourphotos.smugmug.com/pho...lbumKey=3M2CCS

The gallery includes high res pics for purchase as a print or digital download (free).

Now before you go sharpening your pitchforks, the pics are again FREE for all downloads.
Simply mouse over the photo, pick your size on the right menu, and then right click to save as.
You can also from the same hover menu click on the folder icon to download the pics as well. Now, if you care to get any of the photos as prints, you're able to do so there as well. (and yes, the prices are minimal and much much cheaper than killboy or us129photos, etc)

If you have any questions, concerns, or compliments, please PM me.

Other than that, sit back and relax and check out the photos!
On behalf of Esther and myself, we hope everyone enjoys the photos and that they are able to bring us back to that special event known as Wookies in the Woods in the magical place known as the Tail of the Dragon
