ATL: GA Bug-a-Palüza 14 Caravan from ATL to Chattanooga (Friday, April 20, 2012)

Hey everyone in the Atlanta area!

I'm organizing a caravan for Bug-a-Palüza 14 in Chattanooga. I've set up an unofficial event page on Facebook.

Here's the lastest news:

Registration is $16 and is good for the entire weekend for those who wish to show case their dub.

Spectator fee is $4 per person.

"Your registration is good all weekend. Registration is also available at the show on Saturday, but it is cheaper to pre-register here. Because of limited space, Sunday-only show cars wishing to be judged must be pre-registered only. New registrations will not be accepted on Sunday." - http://www.bugapaluza.com/register

We're officially 85 Days away from show time! Time to get some caravan ideas in order.

As much as I would love to do a caravan on Saturday morning, parking will be intense by the time we get there, so we're going to do a Friday Morning Caravan. Two actually:

DISCOVER MILLS
	11:00 AM Skate Rink/Park parking lot (around the corner from AMC Theaters) Location Shown in Map (Purple Push Pin) This is the usual spot for Dirty Dubs for their SoWo caravan. This is for those of us already coming I-85 South (from Athens, Winder, Lawrenceville, etc.)
COBB GALLERIA
	12:00 - 12:30 PM Location Shown in Map (Purple Push Pin) This is for the people coming UP I-75 North from south of Atlanta. (Forest Park, Atlanta, Doraville, Stockbridge, etc.) The group from Discover Mills will be meeting here.

We'll depart from Caravan #2 NO LATER than 1:00 PM on FRIDAY AFTERNOON. If anyone has any additional suggestions or comments about these plans, please feel free to comment below.

It's been brought to my attention that this year's Bug-a-Palüza event is only a two-day event for Saturday and Sunday.

This means we can move the caravan to a later time to an early afternoon time-frame. I'm looking at meet up time for the Cobb Galleria at around 1:30 PM, with a departure time around 2:00 or 2:30 PM.

More details will be posted as soon as more information becomes available.

Looks like our plans are becoming more concrete for the caravan.

Actually: Correction, we'll be changing the departure dates and times with in the next few days. I want to finalize and post info up on the Facebook page and confirm the changes here.

We're now looking at a Friday Afternoon Departure for both locations.

Discover Mills will be between 11:00 AM and 12:30 PM.

Cobb Gallaria will be between 1:30 PM and 2:00 PM.

So as of today, it sounds like we have 4 people interested in the Caravan. Please correct me if I'm wrong:

If I understand correctly, smyrnagti will be attending Wookies in the Woods.

I've also started an interest thread on the Aircooled side of the Vortex, hope to get some feedback from there soon.
