I talked to Billy the other night and he said the exhaust really woke the car up. Enjoy!

I didnt know your car had an open dump as well, in addition to the flappers...

    Any sound clips of that!?

Good hangin with you at the .:RBQ and I think your positive vibes got me the UM win (gave it away 5 minutes later though). I thought they were going to reimburse the total of a tune if you already had it, not the case. Oh well, I made another .:R owner happy. I need a ride in that beast next year.

Nothing super exciting yet, but just got a gauge finally. Will post after install pics later.

Podi dual digital gauge, wideband air/fuel and boost. Once installed we are going to probably start upping boost past 15psi.

Nice Mike, I just got an AEM truboost and AEM wideband because I had an OSIR carbon fiber pod sitting around. How high you plan to turn the boost? I am going to leave mine set at 20psi.

    Good luck

I was going to get the AEM FailSafe Gauge which has Wideband/Boost and also does data logging. They kept telling me it was coming out at the end of the month or late June and I didn't want to wait. I also wanted the OSIR vent gauge but was on backorder.

In terms of boost... I am going to inch up a bit and see. I am on 550cc injectors so I want to see how my air/fuel is now before I make any changes.

Do you know what your awhp is at 20psi? I remember UM showed mid to high 550hp to the front wheels at 27psi right?

Not sure what the awhp at 20psi was, if I had to guess prob about 450 I would think. 22psi made 510fwhp.

20-22psi is plenty, I actually turned mine down a little bit because you don't really need all that power. The car is fun to drive at any boost level.

I think we are going to just inch up a bit to 18psi and see if we need to get bigger injectors. I am at 425awhp now at 15psi, so I think 18psi should be just right.

injectors can handle 20psi..octane will be key...if teh fuel is not strong enough, you will make more power at 16psi

    mike,

we can't afford to assume. Please log block 020 in 3rd gear from 2500-redline, then again in 4th and send to me at today's boost setting. Then I offer you insight on what and where you have headroom

Would you mind if I used the design of your exhaust to show my exhaust makers for when mine is to be manufactured? Also, I've not seen this exhaust dump before, is it like the same concept as a screamer pipe? Is there any benefits of BHP with this?

    Cheers

When I dyno'd last I got +5 all wheel hp with the exhaust dump open, but my rear wheels were rubbing so I only did one pull with it open. Will definitely try again for better numbers. I think the difference between what I have and a screamer pipe is that my dump is after the catalytic converters versus before. Here is a better pic of the exhaust down for you to model if need be.

That was the video of the 425awhp run. There might be two vids up, one had the exhaust dump open and I did 430awhp.
