Just got caught up on this thread. Everything looks AWESOME, only - was this question ever answered?

HPA why block of the SAI? The new inspection machines in the US know when things are writen out in the software and readiness is forced. Blocked off SAI will not pass inspection here.

Sorry for not updating lately... gearing up for Waterfest has been time consuming. We are going all out this year. HPA is bringing the race trailer, their SCCA GLI and one of the drivers. Also going to take a stock GLI and install a K04, Downpipe and flash on site. Going to stream alot of Waterfest to UStream.com .. will put up a link probably Friday or Saturday AM.

    Things I have done recently:
    1) PSI from 15 to 19. Have yet to dyno.
    2) Installed HPA Oil Cooler Kit (just in time for the 100 degree NJ weather)
    3) Bought new rims for Waterfest, will post pics Friday.

We would recommend you keep it below 4500 rpm for ~500 miles, after which your free to terrorize anything else on the road.

Did you guys have any issues with the tensioner bolt/turbo oil feed adapter with leaks? We continue to struggle with small to large leaking (we have reinstalled many times and i've allowed multiple mechanics to give it a try) at the point between the tensioner bolt/sealing-washer and the turbo-feed adapter (towards the firewall). We have replaced all the components (with a new Tensioner two times and a new adapter from HPA) two different times and are beating our heads against the wall. We have also tried both the OE copper crush washer and aluminum style ones... same result.. SQUIRT!

    -issue resolved-
    Thanks everyone for the help...

Well, it's not leaking at the thread (the motor side).. It's between the turbo oil feed adapter and the tensioner washer.. Maybe we can put sealant or something on that side..

Thanks for the assistance and the other pieces of advice guys. We resolved the leak by having the turbo oil feed adapter resurfaced at a machine shop. The key was to get sides of the adapter parallel and almost-perfectly flat-- after all, it basically acts as a huge washer.

I actually went up to 19psi. Haven't dyno'd it yet, probably will try next week.

What else have you done to your car? I haven't seen a build thread. What exhaust do you have? That was a huge improvement with the 20th kit and definitely recommend it.

I'm building a monster. It's the FT-500 tune on the 20'th kit on a MKII TT.. All HPA... Plus some other goodies... However, i'm not sure what my PSI is.. Somewhere between 17-20, but Marcel has not responded yet to that question. We are just starting the testing now that the timing is correct. Tomorrow i'll put another 20 miles on it, then we will put the front back on for the rest of the break in...

Lots of pictures and the whole build so far documented below.. Plus all the specs etc...

Was your kit/turbo sent to you at 15PSI? How did you know this? I'm a bit confused about how that gets set.

Also, I thought your car had a oil cooler, and I never heard of an HPA one. Please tell more!

It was preset at HPA for 15PSI. It was reconfirmed when I installed my podi.ca boost/AF gauge.

And yes, I do have an oil cooler. HPA has made a custom oil cooler (using a Setrab cooler) that works with our 20th kits. It sits in front of the driver side wheel. I will post some pics later of an installation.. unfortunately we did not take pics of our installation.

Thanks for the info. Now get that thing on the Dyno again.

Did you have any trouble with air in the coolant system or the coolant boiling? The coolant reservoir is not the highest point after the install so that seems to cause trouble. We are now trying to bleed air from it using pressure.

We are at a 50/50 coolest/water mixture. Is that consistent with yours?
