MK4 03 GTI Electrical problem

Hello, I bought a 03 gti 1.8t and I have noticed some weird problems. Car has salvaged title as well. First off when the window switches are held up when windows are already up the car looses power inside like all the dash lights go dead and come back on and one headlight goes dead and comes back on, also the other day while driving in the rain at 65mph I switched on my headlights and the car stalled or died for like a second and the dash lights went dead and the came right back on. I scanned the car today and got back code 00668 intermediate power loss at terminal 30. I dont know if this is a broken shorted wire from crash damage or a bad alternator or bad battery or some kind of power unit.

check the fuse box on top of the battery. see if any of that looks crufted

yes ive looked there everything looks fine and intact. Would a bad alternator cause this. car has 91k miles.
