SGV GTG Pasadena Alhambra El Monte Montebello Monterey PK Temple City Commerce

I know San Gabriel Valley is JDM town and im SICK of it. Is there any SGV GTG's? Im all over SGV on a daily basis from Montebello to Pasadena. So if you know of a GTG LMK or lets start one. San Gabriel Valey is known for the original In N Out, The Hat and I believe the first McDonalds was here. So there are many spots to hang out. Last thread I read was from 2007 so this is long over due.

I'm from montebello and once I saw a vw bug gtg at a mcdonalds in pico but never again. Now all I see is team sinister jdm group all over. We really do need one and it would be cool to get one going in this area.

Well Im in Montebello too so even if its 3 or 5 meeting in pico then that would be cool. Boy SGV is really JDM town, there seems to not be a big interest here. I remember a thread about ppl meeting at Howe's on Huntington and San Gabriel thats like 3 blocks from work. Pico Rivera would be close for me or the Montebello town center.

I tried to start one in the Khol's parking lot in Alhambra Mission and Fremont easy parking access for your dumped rides lots of parking and spots to grub at. It went on for a few weeks but ppl lots interest, maybe like an every other week type deal.

Mazdaspeed's ppl got in trouble not too long ago for having a car meet at the khols by freemont and mission, so I guess that spot won't be a good idea anymore. I have also been at the 626 meet from the nissan boys by atlantic and main, guess what! Meet got raided due to a few fellas revving their engines and doing stupid things at the lot. Police came and told us in a nicely way to stop showing up there since the stores around complained about trash and some other things (it was a private property after all). Anyways, I started to think that alhambra hasnt been a friendly city for car meets, or maybe people around here is not mature enough to control themselves at the meets.

I would look forward to attend this meet. OP need to talk to whoever is in charge of the stores of decided place to make sure there wont be any problem while having a car meet in their parking lot.
Don't forget to mention we will clean ourselves before leaving the spot.

The BBQ sounds good to me. Some meeting places that come to mind are, the Montebello Town Center, Atlantic Square in Monterey Park, or the Hat on Broadway and Rosemead in Temple City every other week should be ok initially to keep folks interested. We would need to keep it chill no reving or burn outs. Dont want to get shut down from the start. I would like to see aircooled and all euros in general. Hopefully we can attrack more volks folks. Lets set a day starting next week. Can anyone post a flyer here?

i usually go to the 626 meet at cha, it isnt as big anymore cause of the honda guys revving and ****. but there are still a few regulars that attend the meet the original people. there are also a few VWs that show up occasionally.

I was thinking of The Hat near Atlatic Square in Monterey Park, but that may be too far for Altadena, Monrovia ppl. How about we set it up for every other tuesday. Starting with tuesday the 7th of Feb @ The Hat on Broadway & Rosemead in Temple City or The Hat on Atlantic in Monterey Park. Starting at 7 pm and on.

Tell me about it. To many JDM ppl around. I'm in Pasadena I wouldn't mind driving out to Montebello.
A few ppl and I tried setting something up a few years ago. We did it for a few months out in echo park target parking. It's big and no cars out in back. And in n out is on the other side of the free way.

The Hat in Temple City feb 7th then . Its on Rosemead and Broadway. Its a good center location between the 210 fwy and the 10 fwy. Makes it easier for people to come up or down from there area.

DAMM Tuesday Ill be going on that Taco Tuesday bike ride in Culver city. Cant make it a Wednesday gtg? should take a pole on the day Tuesday , Wednesday, Thursday and what not . .
