Salvage title information:
I bought the car with a salvage title and broken timing belt. It had been previously repaired in the left rear. The body work is sound but the clearcoat is peeling off the newly painted areas. It will need a respray of the left rear corner, hatch and rear bumper. When i bought it i did all the work to the engine to get it running again. I am a certified master technician, my specialty is Audi/VW. I performed all the work to the car and my wife drove it around with our two kids. When we had our third i got her a new car and did all the suspension work you see. I'll be doing a few things to it this week to correct an oil leak.
This is a cool cruiser! Rides very nice and tucks wheel when parked.
