e-code fog light bulb replacement

hi all,

i'm replacing an H3 fog light bulb in my e-code, and i was wondering where the metal tab at the end of the wire connects to?



(this is the first time i've had to replace the fog.) also, i typically replace my H4s without removing the headlamp assembly itself - even though it is a squeeze on the driver's side, because of the battery. will i be able to do the same with the fogs?

bump same question. I bought a hid kit for the h3 bulbs in my e-code headlights is it possible to run them and how do you get these lights out?
