Got the same thing on the DSG...making me crazy!![]()

Hopefully someone will be able to help me identify the problem.
Car is a 2007 GTI. The rattle comes from the center console (where the gear lever is), and is only there when the car is cold. After driving for 10-15 mins it goes away completely.
Its hard to explain when the rattle occurs, but I will try my best:
When taking off (releasing the clutch pedal and applying gas), but before the gear is fully engaged. Same thing when shifting onto 2nd gear. Here is a video:
The rattle also occurs when the car is being "jerked". For example, in this video I'm in 1st gear, simply applying gas and releasing it:
If you listen closely in this video, it sounds like something is "stretching" when I'm on the gas, and then "stretches back" when I release the gas.
In other words, the rattle occurs whenever there is stress applied.
I have a Neuspeed Torque Arm Insert installed, could that possibly be the cause of this? (it did not rattle in the beginning) Dogbone mount? Or a transmission mount?
Thanks is advance for any help![]()

I found a post on some australian VW forum, which was suggesting I replace the bolts holding the dogbone mount. It did not silve the problem for me.
I stopped by at a local dealership to show the the rattle, and the tech said that I should replace the dogbone mount itself. Its only about $90 on ECS, so I might give it a try when I get some free time.
Anyone else have some ideas?
Thanks!
