I was referring to the above post/picture with my comments about tires rubbing on fenders, not you being on airYour wheels actually fit your car, unlike above
I do like them a lot, I almost picked up a matte black set not too long ago... and yes, color is definitely personal preference![]()

my wheels dont fit either
this was a few months ago after a canyon drive, when i still had the eagle f1's and -2.6 rear camber. now i can run the same roads with no issues.
dont worry, the burn coloring comes off when you wash it![]()

for the WINN, haha. i'm on the peninsula so haven't seen you around, and yeah, you're pretty hard to miss with those wheels! i typically don't dig the wild colored wheels thing, unless it's tied together thematically somehow. kinda like this
any plans for additional color?

I just picked up the wagon alittle over 2 weeks ago and haven't driven it out that way yet, but you might have seen my Mk4 around-
And I have cut some stickers that match the wheels to put on my hatch, I'm working on some other ideas to tie the green into the rest of the car, dont want to go overboard though, because the green isnt staying for too long, lol![]()

thanks for the help! i raised the rears up 5 threads and I'm running 235/35 hankook v12 evo's. I'm currently at -2.5 rear camber and only rub on some dips/bumps if i go over them too fast. I'm planning on cutting the fender liner tomorrow to see if that helps.
would you recommend getting 225's or would a different brand/model tire be better? and how much extra wear would my tires have at -3.0 rear camber compared to the factory rec -1.5?
and when you guys say my wheels dont fit.. do you mean because its 9.5? or et 45 (or maybe the tires?) I'd like to keep these wheels, but not if its going to be this much trouble just to run them
and nikhsub1.. this is my first time ever purchasing wheels/tires + on a lowered car. obviously i didn't want this to happen, that's why i came here as soon as it happened. I had just came from VMR and they told me i could drive home at that height. (I'm assuming because it was about closing time and they wanted to go home.. I wish i had told them to take the wheels off. hindsight is 20/20) I dont have much time to work on my car as i have to work 50 hours a week. I'm on here to learn.. so thanks to those who gave me advice.

I'd think you need a smaller tire. Maybe 215s. Then see if it still needs more negative camber.

Nice wagon platinumedVR6, I was checking out at SOWO.

I'd agree. I ran 18x9 et45 with 225 and was fine. Cleared the fronts too, with the fenders rolled. That's was with the ride height probably at 23.75 fender to ground and 24 in the rear, if I'm remembering correctly. And I relieve my rear camber was -2.3. I had no rubbing.
The 9.5s are obviously going to stick out more, but maybe the extra width will stretch the 225s enough to clear. I think it will be close though. Maybe go with 225s in a brand know to run narrow?

I am running a 9.5" et44 on the rear of mine. Tires are 215's but I was running pretty low. No issues with rubbing. I don't think I could run a 225, however.

Thanks. From the first picture of them mounted, I pulled the helpers in front, notched the frame, added some camber (for tuck), and dropped the rear. As far as pics, I have a few more on my camera from sowo. I'd love a roller of it thou.
Thanks. Yeah I pulled the springs, jacked the wheel up in the wheel and adjusted the camber till they just cleared. I would hate myself if I destroyed a rear quarter.

18x9's seem to fit these cars really well (front and rear with the right offsets) and still allow you to run a 225 width tire.
For 9.5s, a 215 tire is just too much stretch for me. I'd stick to a 225/35, raise the rear coils (if necessary) and dial in a little more camber. The change from -2.6 to -3.0 made such a big difference in my setup...
