Update as promised, just got back from the shop after having the downpipe installed and the first thing i did was switch to slot 2 and enable my 93 stage 2 program. WOW is only the beginning of what I can say about this, it sounds amazing even with the stock catback and the pull it has now is freakin amazing. Cant wait to take it on the highway tonight and see how it sounds at faster speeds. soo happy!

Just removed the fog grilles but just as a warning the lamin-x is too small for the 2012 tiguans fogs...idk if the size of the lens changed or if they just didn't measure it correctly but it took a lot of stretching to get it right, so make sure you have a heatgun to apply it.

Yeah, they each have a tab that goes in first on the "outer" side and then they pop in on the inner side kind of like a lever action. So when you pull them off, its easier to pull on the side closest to the grill. You will see what i mean when you go ahead and try it the first time.

    Good Luck!

Had a busy weekend, installed coil-overs on the Tig yesterday and my catch can kit today. I updated the first post and I will be posting new pics soon.

For anyone interested I will also be posting up an Install/Guide/Reference thread regarding the CO install since there really aren't any specific to the Tiguans.

Man I really need to update this more often...

Anyway, here is the install review thread I did of the coil-overs in case anyone missed it and was looking forward to it:

    http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...NG-PHOTO-HEAVY!!!

As for updates, I emptied my catch can about 2 or so weeks ago and it was naaasty and full, had to also put about 3/4 of a quart of oil back in my engine.

Fiddled once or 3 times with the ride height and I have it sitting where I want it for right now. I might get some different wheels down the road and if, I do, its going lower.

Other than that, i fixed a couple issues this evening, basically had to tighten up some bolts from the co install that came a little loose. Also replaced 2 subframe bolts with different ones that are thicker and dont shear on impact that have a higher tensile strength.

Everything has been pretty good with the tig, here are some pictures of it more recently:
