Naw, I'd love to go but I have a really full show season already planned out. Im hitting Wuste, gR4 (Gold Rush 4 rally), Waterfest18, Waterwerks on the Bay and SEMA 2012. You sure you can't roll to Wuste? That would be a dope photo sesh as our cars are opposites in many ways but also alike. It would be especially sick to see an all white and all black each on vintage F40 style 5-star design. It would be insane if you could make it.

Seeing as how this car is getting some massive flow, the stock exhaust is now deemed worthless.




Buh-bye to that mess, its off to the scrapper now...

NEXT UP: Today (Saturday) the other elements that will be replaced or custom fabbed are now getting yanked along with the ECU which will be shipped out for custom mapping.

your build is looking sic. I'm definitely interested in how the exhaust turns out. Did you decide to go with the Meisterschaft route or totally custom? I would love to see something with the burnished titanium tips. Good luck man.

Thx. I will be using a Meiserschaft this time around again. It has been deemed that this whole build is taking on a ton of Race Car quality custom fabbing. Down-pipe will be built as a one off. Only the breakdown. Hows yours coming along? Any mods finished yet?

Thx. I will not be using a Meiserschaft this time around. It has been deemed that this whole build is taking on a ton of Race Car quality custom fabbing. Down-pipe back and exhaust will be built as a one off by a very talented builder out here in Arizona. I think the tips will be raw slash cut 4" tips though I would really like it to be Titanium tips. Its all up in the air since work hasn't started yet. Only the breakdown. Hows yours coming along? Any mods finished yet?

Nah, no modding yet, just a little vag-com tricks. I have had the car now almost three months and haven't even broke 250mi on the odometer. Being in the Navy, I have been really busy lately and also just purchased an 03 Jeep Wrangler for a daily driver. Can't have anything nice at the base, people have no respect for quality auto's around that place. So right now trying to keep up with maintenance on three cars and a motorcycle. I think my build is going to go the way of your previous TTS though. Looking for daily driver reliability, quality parts, and make a bit of HP too. I've been watching the APR VWR product line and will probably grab some items from them as well as a few other vendors. Headed out to WITW 2012 week after next, I will be using that weekend to determine what I feel "needs " upgraded and where to spend my cash to get the best bang for my bucks.

I can't tell where its going just yet because its a company that is more than knowledgeable at writing software, but they are certainly not known for writing 2.0T FSI specific software. I promise I'll let you know as soon as they say its ok to share the info.

Yeah, if you only have 250 on the clock, a bit of seat time will help you figure out what your needs are in terms of suspension and power etc. As far as the guys at the base not respecting other peoples nice stuff, I've heard that before from other guys in the Services. I would never have thunk that would happen....learn something new everyday though, huh.

Well TEFF, you actually suggested these as an option a few months back.....

wide body fenders (srs-tec) spotted from the packing tape..

Thats using the ol' noodle! Yep you are 100% right. These are the SRS-Tec wide front guards (fenders) I needed to get them because of the TT lower control arms, Brembos and 9" wide wheels all around.

These guys are a class act, with well crafted OEM look wide fenders.

At roughly an inch wider per side gobbling up 9" under the fenders won't be an issue.
