Seems pretty simple to install according to that link. Was it working fine and just recently stopped? does it do anything at all? Obviously I don't want to buy something and end up not being able to get it working.

Yah I know. Before I packed it up, I couldn't get the songs to save onto the DMS cartridge. Reading a few threads from Phathack, it looks like you have to hack it (I'm not even really sure what that means) and restore. I'm not sure if it's a Windows 7 thing or what. It might be something simple, but I never took the time to really investigate.
