I'd anyone booking hotels for 2012 yet?

Started looking for a condo for 2012... Was wondering if anyone else is booking yet? Didn't book until July last year and ended up at a place way too far up the strip.

Are people booking for the weekend of the 29th?

We booked a house this year for the week of Sept 23-30 figuring the show will still take place on the last weekend of Sept (the 29th and 30th)

I know several others who have already booked as well

Well funny you should ask! We stayed at the Astoria last year. The condo itself was nice, but my car and one of my friends cars got keyed on the weekend BEFORE H2o and the security guy was a huge doucher during the week.

Also the condo association fined the owner of our unit $500 becuse there were people on the balcony leaning over the railing. She tried to fight it and I'm not sure if she ended up paying. There were just a couple people on our balcony the night in question, so not sure if they had the wrong unit.

2 years ago we stayed at 4100. The condo was nice and the parking was the same deal as the Astoria. Only 2 spots under the building, if you have more cars they need to find street parking. We would have booked here this year but the parking was a deal breaker. The bonus is it's across the street from the convention center. We washed our cars using a spigot at the condo behind 4100. The security guard at the Astoria wouldn't let us wash our cars there even though it had the outside spigot right there.

The other place we considered was the Tamarindo. These are up around 55th street I think and they have a 2 car garage under and are townhouse style with 4 bedrooms. These looked really nice.

The townhouses look really nice but I need somewhere that does mini weeks, I think I'm going to do some more searching tonight for places

We've stayed at Tamarindo the past 4 years, while the units are nice they have been getting a bit more popular year by year. When we first booked we were one of just a few units in there for the weekend. I'm not saying we won't be back, but looking at other options for this year.

Your right i was just questioning cus there is a site with a list of all the shows and it has sowo as yhe werkend before it actually is. Something was posted on facebook last night saying h2o is sept 28-30 but i dont know if thats the official facebook. The h2o web site doesnt have anything

Reserving at the Islander Motel tonight June 11,2012. Show or no show I need to get away with my car . What better way .Convention centre lawn chair large coffee, peanuts , and what the circus. My fav is the Megaphone guy ,just love it. Cheers
