wtb: black 16V Scirocco or early rabbit truck

I'm soon to be in the market for another VW. My main goal is to find a May 1969 Karmann Ghia as close to my birthdate as possible (see my ad for it)

Since this is a difficult quest, I'm also considering in the mean time getting a black 16V Scirocco or a solid rabbit pickup, preferably 80 or older. As for the Scirocco, I'm very strictly looking for a black 16V one, and the more custom modifications done to it the less I'll want it. As for a Rabbit caddy, I'm less picky about color or engine. Engine swaps are ok as long as it runs fine. Don't want to buy your headache. Scirocco or Rabbit must be solid. Must be within reasonable driving distance of Charlotte, NC. If you already have your car listed for sale online (anywhere) then odds favor I've already seen it. Just looking for more options.

Hey, I've got a 1983 vw rabbit pickup truck with a 2.0 16v engine. 5speed trans. New cv axles, new clutch, trans, and more new parts. No rust in bed. Runs good, and drives good. Needs downpipe. recently bought a 69 Ghia project. Would consider trading for the right car but otherwise no longer looking. Got $2k in the Ghia (so far). Just replaced the timing belt/water pump on my golf so trade plus cash currently not an option. Thanks for the offer
