What are your 200 now on 93 vs old runs. My guess is wheel spin!!! and the track is still green. Your Car is a Monster! Your car is FOR SURE making more power! (I got to drive car Saturday) I think a couple more times at the track and adjusting tire pressure and launch is going to be Key!

I honestly don't know how you are getting down the track that fast as 1st through 3rd are very touchy. You are a good driver and I know you will figure it out, as now it is a challenge!

I can't wait till next time you hit the track as I know those times will come down.

Your car is totally sick!!! There are no words to describe the pull that it has in 4th

You just gotta tame this beast and get it under control at the track!!!

    Later,
    Jj

I'm confused as well. If you put my 12.2 timeslip up against your 12.3, your 60' was better and mph. I don't get how you crossed the line slower. As I said, I just wish we have stage 3 V2 timeslips to compare your 100oct run with.

100 octane file. 1st and only pass on this tune. The 2 passes with 93 were operator error. Not slow due to the tune.

Crazy build with some DSG love also. Did you do anything internal to the DSG or just the software?

Just a dsg fluid change. The stock clutch packs are good with the stage 3 software. I'm having no issues. Others are putting down more than me on software and stock packs alone.

Not in the shop now. After doing some research I'm thinking it is spark knock. I'm going to throw some race gas in it today and do some logging.

On the way home from the bar yesterday the throttle body decided to take a ****. I haven't run meth since last Sunday at the track. So much for the dual nozzle setup. UFB.

I removed the TB this evening. New one should be here tomorrow or Wed. Discovered a small air leak around the throttle body spacer evident by the blow-by residue on the back of the spacer.

I also tested my methanol pump pressure yesterday with USRT's pressure gauge to discover absolutely no reading from the dial and every fitting was leaking. I had plenty of pressure coming from the pump to at least get a reading despite the leaking.

I called them today and was told they only hand tighten the fittings. Guess they don't bench test it nor calibrate either. Or it's just .

During a previous conversation, they took great pride in bad mouthing another well know tuner while trying to play up themselves. Needless to say I am not impressed with their customer service, sh!tty attitude and will never do business with them again. They can keep their $30. It's worth $30 too me to give them bad publicity. It's typically not my style to publicly bash another company, but given the above, I will take great pride in sharing my opinion of how unprofessional they really are. F'in ass clowns.

Which company did you go with to get your STG3+ installed? I've been wanting to go STG3+ but I don't know where to bring my car to.

I've heard mixed reviews with NGP, some have good stories to tell and some have stories like this one. I didn't mean to put them under the spotlight lol

My post wasn't bashing NGP. They've been great. The leak was coming from the gasket provided with the spacer. None of this was NGP's fault.

I'm happy to report that all issues have been resolved. I replaced the TB today and left off the spacer so the leaking gasket wouldn't be an issue. To be honest I'm done with meth for now. After doing some spray testing thru the nozzle/spacer I am convinced that meth has dripped from the nozzle into the TB causing it to fail I just can't prove that. I even had the solenoid but meh.

No more engine noise when lugging it.

I still have some timing pull but that is just gas related. I drained the tank logging today and put some 104 octane and ran logs on 93 tune and 100 tune. 0 pull.

Dyno has been rescheduled for Sat @ 9:30. Stay tuned!

    $70 for 3 pulls.

    Results are in:

    396 whp / 385 wtq on 100 tune.
    373 whp / 382 wtq on 93 tune.

Both runs were with a blend of 2.5 gallons Sunoco 93 and 3 gallons on Sunoco 260GT+. No meth. The 100 tune was the last pull with 30 minutes of cool down. I'm happy. Crank figures come to 495hp. APR advertises 501. It was humid and raining and could I had better air flow. Winpep files will be posted later.
