    2012 VW Golf R

My VW lease runs out in June and I've purchased a Type R, but like you I have other priorities and I'm thinking 40k is a lot more than i want to spend even new so I've allocated 20k to buying used. I've researched this car and would like to make you a conditional offer of 20k. Conditional on us arranging transportation of it. I'm in Ontario and I've never purchased a car from the states before so I'm not sure what's involved, but I hear it's not too complicated. Think it over and let me know if you want to proceed.

Nice car! I am located in Alberta so here are the facts:
    1. You will need a letter from VW saying that the car has no outstanding recalls (some of the manufacturers are charging quite a bit so ask them before you pay for the car)
    2. You have to send to US Customs 72 hrs in advance a copy of title, bill of sale and a completed form that can be downloaded from any US Custom website
    3. At the Canadian custom you will be charged GST, PST and import tax (6%) because the car is manufactured in Germany
    4. Ask VW in Ontario about the warranty (if any)

Good luck with the deal to both of you, I was looking for one too but I gave up.
    HTH,
    George

PS. Edited for the info supplied

    Did you buy this?

I notice the cigarette lighter isn't correct. That would be a deal breaker for me LOL.

Actually, if you are in Indy and need the correct one... I have a spare somewhere you can have... doesn't light, but looks right.
