With all the stuff i have done to my Passat i figured i would do a build thread so far im two years into it and still loving everything about her! Now that im planning out my Big Turbo and what not figured it be a good idea to start my build thread.

Here's where the story began:

September 2009
Two days old


Knew almost nothing about the car other then it was a 6 speed and had a turbo.

November 2009
First added New south boost gauge an pod


Tried making all of this stuff fit!


And succeeded for the most part..... The dual 15's in the box needed some fat trimming done should have it all in by summer 2012



December 2009
then i wanted to do a Badge-less grill and HIDs




March 2010
I decided to try and black out some trim





ended up wrapping the front markers too:

I added my catless 3 in downpipe

June 2010
added the APR stage 2 tune

Nov 2010
-I added the B&B catback! sounds beautiful
-Then i added my BSH PVC fix and BSH true-seal intake

Was being harassed by my fellow B6ers to make a video of my exhaust/intake ect :


-Broke my shifter cable and had to go through HELL to fix it

Then i decided to buy some VMR Vb3s........ waited .........waited ......... and waited some more finally got them in the beginning of June 2011

I added an N2mb WOT Box..... so now i have launch control and wide open throttle shifts

-Before Waterfest i decided i needed low and suspension so i grabbed some Koni FSDs and Neuspeed sport springs

-Trackstar came to NY to cruise down to Jersey for Waterfest! But bf we left we had to wrap my grill!!

@the show


-we each ended up buying a set of these!


Slapped those babies and and changed out my front Neuspeed sport springs to the Race springs to give me a more even drop





I then when to Wolfsgart 2011 with Vinnyty and ended up leaving with Unitronic Chipped as my new tuner and let me tell you! the difference was night and day!!!!

I got in touch with HPFP Upgrades and bought there absolutely amazing HPFP Internals then upped my UNI stage 2 tune to Stage 2 HPFP @ NA Motorsports!

Then I decided to ditch my New south boost gauge and Pod and grab the more superior Podi one!

Got tht crazy Trackstar to come out to the east coast again to hit H20i 2011!!
had a great time at the show met some awesome B6er like Speedy and Weelildubb2.






Febuary 2012
Got the votex front lip and side skirts. I have under a 1/4 inch og clearence when i pull in my driveway now soo no more low till AIR or VRH (cool lil vid on the VRH







And right now the mods are sitting Idle.

What i have that needs to be installed:
I have Euro spec Fog lights w/ rline grills from TM Tuning on there way
Stage 2 Endurance clutch with a single mass flywheel

To come in the future:
GT3071 or GT3076 Turbo kit (by june)
FMIC (by April)
Rods (by H20i)
LSD (2013)
Add my second Subwoofer
Possibly going air in 2013

Thank you sir, i would love to tint my in NY you need to allow 70% light to pass through so its not really worth the money. and my car draws enough attention w/ the way it loks and no front plate i dont need any more.

HA maybe for one of the shows next yr ill do a theme. But the military look ive been told many times it was kinda an accident but im very happy with the resulting look

Thanks! The wheels are holding up great! do you guys offer anything thats really lightweight? in a 19" wheel?? Due to the bigger brakes in the future the VB3's are prob going to become my winter wheels.

That looks shmexy... these were those 2 LED rings you purchased correct? Not the full replacement inner tails that most of us have to buy?

...and did you do any special wiring for them or are they just working as parking lights? (no brake, turns, rear fog, or anything)

yep those are the two that i bought from Angelico. The way i have them wired they light up as parking lights and as brakes lights (so if there on and i set on the brakes they get brighter)

I to do that i needed to use a diode (silicone 1.8A 1000V ~1$, its all radio shack had so i made it work) on the brake wire so the parking light wire didn't back feed. the only issue i ran into is the driver side tail would shut down.... the way i fixed this is w/ vag com i increased the brightness of the parking lights and all problems were solved.

ill post a small pic to explain....

That is pretty slick, not sure if you would know off-hand but since you did an install/wiring maybe... do you think you could wire these up as rear fogs and parking lights? I'm guessing it would require NOT using them as brake lights or turn signals. Just brainstorming over here, still trying to get a set of these lights myself

you'd need to follow Angelico's DIY youd need to run wires to the ECU and such. i didnt do this due to the amount of work needed and its too cramped in my garage and cold out.

They are all painted gloss black right now. Im debating if im going to leave them this color or paint them satin black or do a permanent plasti dip.

The reason i may leave them gloss is bc i plan to get my wheels powder coated so they will be gloss too.... IDK I know i dont want to color match bc of the normally harsh winters NY gets and not to mention the lips been on the car for 3 days and the bottom of it is stripped of its paint already

FMIC im going with CTS turbo's if your interested in one PM me and ill talk to Clay. there not going to be ready till Spring. Myself and VinnyTy are going to be running CTS's

As for rod all thats really avaialbe for us are IE rods. CTS Turbo also carries them

I know what your mean, but color match was never even a consideration. The black and green theme i have going i absolutely love. I like the POP it has, its not as classy as all color matched but thats not what im going for

Its not apr! Its a stage 2 badge for uni. APRs badge says APR in front

Im not sure of the price of the CTS fmic. Less then 900$ i would assume
