    "What's C.." Oh never mind.

I seem to be on the road to recovery; shedding willful denial is one of the steps...

Tosha should tell us his Cincy story. It's probably the first thing I got to know about him when I met him way back during the New Dimension days

That and Black Cat Ale (if memory serves me right).

Oooh, I should add, this would be my 10 year anniversary since the last trip I made out there, and if I'm not mistaken I still can still claim the only Cali Rocco that's ever attended

techfx was there last year with California plates on his car. But he drove from Pittsburgh.
    Deal with it.

    It was!
IIRC, it was in the chit chat thread. I think.

Anyhoo, I do remember putting it in my calendar when it was brought up then. Because, it's never too early to plan for that!
(I know, planning is for the weak; and, these are Sciroccos, after all... )

ONE of these years I will have the correct combination of time off and running car to go to this...

Hey, I came to Bonelli. Cincy is closer to California than Bonelli is to Philadelphia!

Well I'll need some time to get my rocco square with the world.

Firestone showed me that my power steering rack is leaking pretty good and the inner tie rod ends are loose.... Plus the lower ball joints are on borrowed time. I had a feeling of looseness in the fornt for a while so I was not shocked at the diagnosis.

Time to order parts..... look at them for about 110 days then sprint to the finish for the drive to cincy

Well then, I think that right there is a good reason for you to come out this year! What better 10-year 'gift' than making an appearance again?

And, then you can show off those badass power vent windows you made, too.

My rack and tie-rod ends are in about the same shape. Redoing a bunch of stuff (hopefully) before Cincy anyhow, and adding those to the list.

Hmmm, there's a bit to do on the Slegato and pretty much nothing to do on the 16V. So of course I will bring the Slegato.

Don't put it off! I'm sure Cincy won't happen forever. For the forseeable future, yes, but if mom and dad ever decide to retire south like they talk about now and then.... there goes the location and probably the end of Cincy. Treasure each one.

    Likewise.
I'd rank Cincy as Best. Weekend. Ever.

Hell, even Katie loved it! She went in with so many doubts... But, came out a fan.

If that happens, I wonder what the new owners will think when we all show up. Probably call the cops, I imagine.

Although plans are for the weak, It has been on my work calender since the Monday after last year's Cincy.

I wonder what interesting thing will happen at the hotel this year? Random drunk guy was fairly entertaining last year.

Looking back on a few older threads from last year I have an idea about T-shirts.

We can have a little fun and everyone make their own T-'s and a group will vote on the most original.

Fabric paints, markers, blood, tie dye..... what ever you want.

We usually go to Amsterdam NY(Julie's town) or last time I joined the East Coast Caravan and spent Thursday night just outside Philly. And then leave nice and early Friday morning. The Montreal folks also split their drive into two days.

I'd like to get some feedback.... I'm considering chatting with the 'rents about allowing camping on-site this year. Opinions? Just keep in mind there would be no shower facilities. If camping was an option, would there still be enough interest in the hotel to try and get a group rate set up?

    Discuss.

While I'm not opposed to camping in the yard (we do that at two summer parties every year).... showers are nice - especially on the hot days.

So... I'd say "yes" on the hotel, too.

(Wish it was an Express, though - they have such good breakfast there!)

*if* I can make it this year, I would be camping, but at the campground. A morning shower is a MUST HAVE!
