Just talk about how much you love all those crime shows, Law and Order, CSI, NCIS, Castle. Tell them you've been doing your research and you find these shows to be very factual. It shows that you're "vision on the reality of court" is twisted. Sure thing to get out of it. All those nice things. You know show that you would be sympathetic to both parties or indecisive. Sure fire way to get out!

I would just get with the clerk for the court your supposed to show up in and be honest and tell them you have a "reunion" out of town for the same time and ask to be rescheduled. But show up in person don't just call. And then when they say yep rescheduled have them write their name, time and day on your notice and KEEP it just incase.
