    Looking forward to it!

Last season was great. The chemistry between all the hosts has improved a lot and the show is a blast to watch.

    SO strange.

I'm reading a post by a Top Gear host, while speaking to a customer of ours "Fuzzy's taco shop" in Louisiana. What would be the odds of that!

I remember the History Channel site puts up the new episodes after the first air. Hulu might have it too. FinalGear also put torrents up shortly after airing.

So, Top Gear on History is moving from Sunday night to Tuesday nights at 9pm EST starting a week from Tuesday on February 14th. This season was a split season, so we shot 16 total, and split them into two groups of 8.

These next 8 are pretty insane...the first show is one of my favorites, and maybe the most dangerous thing we've ever done. You'll have to watch to see for yourself, but in a nutshell, they let us go crazy in big rigs. On public roads. It's out of hand.

I also realize that having the show premier on Valentines Day evening might seem crazy, but I think with a frozen pizza and a bottle of Boone's Farm, this show might just get you lucky.

Hope you'll check it out and I hope you'll enjoy it.

Cliff notes for this season: I went to the hospital twice, so I think we truly went bigger and better. They let me have control of one of the shows, which was a blast...and we have some cars on the show that TCL would have a field day with: The Chevy Corvair, Suzuki Samurai, & the Yugo just to name a few.

Oh, and incase you need to crap in my cornflakes, I indeed know that some of you think you shouldn't watch, & the UK show will always be better, and you think I'm a fat hipster. Just pretend you wrote back, and I read it, and we're on the same page now

To everyone else, thanks for watching and thanks for the support.

You must have been on vortex before the show, what was your username then?

My wife loves the show, and watches with me first time she's ever watched a car show with me, which was amazing we've been married for 13 years.

This may be blasphemous to say, but I like the American version of Top Gear so much better than the original UK show. Not only do I not always understand British humor, but I don't always understand wtf they are saying. I also worked the security detail here in Miami back when they came here to liberty city to do a show the only down to earth friendly guy on the show was Hammond. Keep up the good work

Well, that topic comes up from time to time.
Remember the McDonald's ad where the bear destroys the Corrado?
VW fans went nuts (even more so than usual).

But the real question is: Does simply being rare make something collectible and worth protecting?
Every single model becomes rare at some point due to normal use and abuse.
Eventually there are just a few left.
Look at how many VW Type 1s were sold and how many are left (on the road) now.
99.9999% of them must have been crushed at some point.

Anyway- I can understand why you like those diesel Caddys (small trucklettes are rare in the US of any vintage- the Caddy, Rampage, and Brat are it- we don't speak of the Baja here).
And if that really was your first car, it makes even more sense to want to save it.

    Good luck with it.

Fixed is an interesting term there...I think "rides again" is better In the show you'll see hands down the best example of hooning in a VW Rabbit pickup ever, I believe.

I'm scheduled to record all of the season this year. It is one of the only shows my wife will watch with me that is car related. She thinks Tanner is cute, sorry Rut.

    Does it involve:
    1. Catapult
    2. Explosion
    3. Building demolition
    4. All of the above?

id like to see more super car and other sports car reviews, rather then challenges at this point. challenges are fun because of the reality TV aspect, which is chemistry, and while season 2 was pretty good, its still not quite there.

also, im tired of fifth gear and TGUK reviews cause half the time we can't get those cars here.

not saying don't do challenges, but i hope there are some serious super car reviews.

Sweet, glad to see the show coming back. My biggest nightmare back in 2010 was that the show would be cancelled before it had a chance to get good. I have always been very quick to remind everyone that the first couple seasons of Top Gear UK's return ('02-'03), it was AWFUL. In a similar way, Season 2 of TGUS was much better than Season 1, and I'm very much looking forward to Season 3

Rutledge, you have an '83 Wagovan with a B18B swap?! That's awesome

Now that is just clever. I mean, that's genius. But...he wore FLANNEL...I just like PLAID. IT's similar to how a square is a rectangle, but a rectangle isn't a square. Most flannel has a plaid pattern, but not always the other way around Yet, still funny.

Thanks man...To be honest, I don't remember how many reviews we did. I know it was less than before because honestly, we try to make them more than just a review because there are a lot of those sometimes. SO for example, we pitted 3 new modern day muscle cars against each other...rather than just test 1 we went after all 3.

Thanks man. Technically it's not a Wagovan, just a Civic Wagon, deluxe no less with a "5 speed" badge on the back originally..as if that made it hot stuff. There's some much cooler wagon's over on the hondacivicwagon forum, but mine's certainly different. I get it back on Wednesday and I can't wait. I had it for all of 15 minutes when it was delivered to me before the passenger side axle let loose.

You guys did the right thing and did a bit with the VW Mk1 Caddy. Get the rest of the VW community by featuring the Corrado.

thats perfect, thats exactly the kind of stuff i'd like to see. we all know TGUK would never do something like that, they would pit those cars against some AMG black series or M or something, twice the cost blah blah blah ...

i didn't mean to say that the challenges arn't going well, season 2 was really quite good, but i'd like to see more American car reviews, cars we only get in the USA, or those kinds of cars vs the German and Asian imports.

Haha..well, you'd be asking a guy who daily's a dumped 96 Roadmaster Wagon...haha. Props to you for even remembering the 6000LE. Those tailights were hilarious. Clearly that designer thought that Robots would be ruling the world and the 80's would have lived forever. He's sitting in his Subrau XT now in a Member's Only jacket having no idea that he's trendy again.
