And you probably like the newer Star Wars episodes over the original three.
TG's penchant for destroying cars is becoming a problem.

MTM and Phyllis have been off the air for decades. I was pointing out that Leachman is still funny in her 80's. What's wrong with that? Double to you!

This episode looked like a lot of fun to film! Driving a FWD car minus the rear wheels had to be a blast. Surprised Adam wasn't hurt when driving straight into the rear of that car while doing slalom.

Did Tanner go out of his way to find a Player's Only jacket for his Corvette theme?

In regards to the Corvette, I assume that that the exhaust exiting from under the driver side towards the front of the car, suggesting that it was still front engine'd. I just assumed that the engine had been moved to the back, rather than deal with the complications of a 35' drive shaft, but the drive shaft hump that ran the length of the car suggested otherwise. Any details on the setup?

This was one of my favorite Top Gear UK episodes and the US guys did a fantastic job as well, really funny stuff and highly entertaining.

I was very happy to see the Rabbit pickup back in some of its glory

really enjoyed last nights episode again. my wife commented that the presenters are doing a much better job with chemistry, obviously as your time together grows, you become better friends...which makes it that much more entertaining.

the cloris leachman bit was hilarious.

and making fun of tanner about "length" - size jokes will never get old, especially regarding corvettes.

i almost wish there was another 10-15 minutes for a fun car review segment or a longer interview. top gear UK has also done tributes before (i just posted the very well liked senna tribute in another thread). i know the presenters don't control a ton of the content or challenges, but we all appreciate Rutledge's efforts in speaking with us...most of us are really enjoying the show.
    Regarding DD'ing a tuned Evo:

The engine was obviously in the front with an extended drive shaft.

I haven't laughed that hard in awhile. That was a great episode....Was one of those Caddy's a diesel? if not it had some nasty knock. Either way, super fun hour of TV. But once again, I don't have HBO do did not care for B-lister in a Suzuki. he was fast, however.

Too bad i don't have History channel. But I did get a chance to watch an episode at my hotel back on the 6th of march IIRC, or it was a re-run. It was the Van's traversing the continental divide. I found it entertaining.

I honestly wouldn't even try to compair the two, as they are set on two different continents.

I really just like teh antics and the universal $hit flipping between guys. Cause when a group of guys that know each other well, there is always $hit flipping that is bound to happen.
We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War's a spiritual war... our Great Depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off.

Aside from the usual internet means, history.com airs the show for webviewers and is usually how I'll watch it since I don't have cable TV anymore. They're usually pretty good at keeping up with showtimes as well, if it's aired on cable it usually airs on the website.

Somewhat like this yet the one I saw looked better, more of a traditional limo.
Watching Tuesday's episode now, and a question I had from the big trucks episode is finally answered. Loving the limos episode.

He went from saying he did not feel the Rabbit truck should of been killed the way it was in first cars to killing two, well killing or re purposing is debatable.
I think it was pretty darn cool though.

We've only got 2 new shows left people!

Tuesday night is a good one...it's my show, basically...they let me pick the things I wanted to try.

This is also a show where I ended up in the hospital, so I'll wait and share a fun story about that afterwards.

I'm hearing good things in hopes of season 3...sounds like we might start shooting in late May. Fingers crossed !

It's a bummer, but I don't think season 2 has aired there at all. I've learned that History in Canada is just a name licensing thing, not truly History, so that may be why.

You should call them and yell at them about it. Don't yell, maybe just a nasty email...not nasty, but you get the picture. Thanks for trying !
