I built this car totally as a hobby. I have driven it for about 5 years on the highway and in South Beach traffic with no problems but its time to move on to the next project. I have over $14k invested in Parts, Interior, Paint, and Stereo plus the countless hours of building it in my garage.

I am converting my Cabriolet to a Callaway Turboed too and cannot wait to hear the sound of the turbo with the top DOWN



I also see you have left out CIS . can you tell me more about the setup ? PSI and more

The motor was originally CIS but the car was digifant II. I used the computer from a G60 Corrado with a Bahn Brenner chip because it has a built in MAP sensor to read the boost. I put the newer style injector sleeves in the head to install the Bahn Brenner injectors for the digifant fuel injection.

this is information that other Callaway owners could advice how to "upgrade" cis to digifant of standalone.

also very excited to know about numbers, was it dynoed ?
how much boost are you running and what estimate HP and Nm

please email me all photo's you have available for documentation , garage invoices etc etc.
and please consider taking a ride with someone and a videocamera or smartphone (top down and radio off)

To Callaway:

Car made 202Hp at the wheels with 15psi of boost. I have it turned down to 13psi just to be safe. It made 187Hp at that boost. I was looking for a kit they used to make for the Corrados that made the computer run in warm up mode under boost so I could get more fuel and turn it up to 18psi to see what it does!!! The car is actually very quiet even under boost and the wastegate dumps back into the down pipe to keep it quiet. I hade a blowoff valve on it for a while but then it sounded too much like a rice rocket so I took it back off...
