So this may not be related to my car, but it's related to me! And Volkswagen! That's right!! I got a job at a VW dealership!! And it's so awesome, I'm still walking around the shop looking at all the VW's and thinking about how surreal it seems. Never ever thought I would actually get to work for Volkswagen.

On a side note, the Cabby is doing well, other than the big vacuum leak I intend to fix this afternoon. :/ Just over a week now til the first show!

Love this car!! If I were you I would mount some replica stinger missiles or a harpoon gun or a crossbow or something, go full Tank Girl

If you're thinking of découpage-ing comics on there again, what I usually use for covering anything in paper is this stuff called Mod Podge... it's inexpensive at art stores, works similar to watered-down glue and dries hard and pretty much waterproof.... I've never tried it myself, but what a lot of street artists swear by is a 50-50 blend of water and wood glue. Paper is, after all, just wood pulp, and diluted wood glue will permanently bond that stuff to anything; metal, concrete, glass, you name it.

Oh yeah, and every VW made since 2001-ish smells exactly like a box of freakin' crayons. My ex-girlfriend had an early-2000s beetle and I thought it was maybe just her backseat littered with girly stuff that smelled like that. Now every time I step into a newer VW I'm reminded of her...

Sorry for the delay.....

Well my car had its debut at Spring Fling, and it was a success! Lots of people loved it, a couple even said they missed the way it was before, and funny enough a few people have come up to me and asked if I'd seen the one around town that's painted all crazy colours. I just went "uhh....." and pointed at my car.

And with no further delay, here she is! Ta daaaa!
