Summer Wheels.....anyone picking out anything yet?

Hey everyone, since the winter wheel posts were so popular, i thought id go ahead and throw this one up here.

What are your summer wheel choices? sticking with factory? going with something else? just interested in seeing what everyone is going with

I'm trying to decide between 3 wheels. Either the V710's in gunmetal or in hyper silver, OR some BE by Breyton GTF2 wheels I found on TireRack. I'm looking only for a few years out of them so don't want to drop too much loot... The V710's are super popular - almost too popular.. the BE's would be more unique not to mention wicked easy to clean... Thoughts???

I know the V710's will be nice, but I'm just drawn to the BE's - I think they may be cool... I also like the mix of gunmetal and simplicity of a 5 spoke...

personally, i like the bright silver sones at the top. since my car is yellow, i thought id go with a black and yellow theme, but now that i have the car, i like the yellow and silver

The HyperSilver is a safe way to go - garantee they will look good and have a nice shine. But they are extrememly popular in the BMW and Audi world both for brand VMR wheels, AND style - the honeycomb design.

So I'm thinking something a little different might be nice... and those 5-spokes would be SO easy to clean... but but but I'm still undecided!

i have to agree with you on that. the 5 spoke design like that would take only seconds to wipe down. unlike my BBS's that take at least 5 minutes a wheel.

if you dont mind me asking, what is the price on those?

They are super affordable - especially compared to BBS wheels

The 19x8.5 ET35 are $249
The 19x9.5 ET35 are $255

I'll go with the 8.5's cause the 9.5's would stick out too much... (tirerack does not recommend them)

The 8.5's will be 8mm wider per side than stock which I think will fill the wheel wells perfectly... I think the 9.5's would be about 21mm wider than stock set up... would look dumb.

Yeah - I like to change my rims every couple years or so, so don't like to spend too much... but don't want no cheap soft rims either... these seems ok... at 27.4lbs each they aren't too heavey either...

500+ is pricy for 18's but they are a quality rim for life... also resell is high on the BBS's...

I'll post some pics once I get the summer set up installed... I want to throw on the H&R rear sway bar on when I get the wheels put on...
