I did a search and the last thread made on the subject was last posted on in 2009.

What supplements do all you guys take?

This is what I am currently taking.
    1M.R. (Pre Workout)
    ON Whey Gold Standard
    ON Casein Gold Standard
    BCAA's (Pre Empty Stomach Cardio)
    ON Optimen Mutli-Vitamin

Looking into getting a Fat Burner to take as well.

Has anyone tried any of the Muscle Pharm Supps? I'm curious about their Creatine and some other stuff.

Research it. it is fantastic for strength gains and losing water weight. It's just a mild over the counter AI.

    I have a tough request:

Caffeine/stimulant based supps have zero effect on me and I think I have a handle on it. I have the genetic inclination towards ADD. My brother was diagnosed early with ADHD and then my dad was diagnosed with Adult ADD. I don't have any of the tendencies but I have noticed that stimulants do jack squat for me, for example I can drink a double espresso and go to bed.

So, my quest is to find a good supp that works in a non-stimulant fashion. Any recommendations? I'm mainly looking for something for recovery since I've been staying sore longer in my old age.

Are you taking l-dopa from M. Pruriens? Either way, have you looked at taking it with green tea, or at least EGCG?

L-dopa is almost entirely metabolized before it gets to the brain and in large enough doses can cause some pretty undesirable side effects in your peripherals like nausea, weakness, vertigo, etc. A component in green tea, EGCG acts to prevent this metabolism outside of the brain. When treating Parkinsons patients, L-dopa is administered with another drug called Carbidopa that accomplishes the same thing.

L-dopa from macuna in both 75% and 25%. Green tea is good for L-theanine, which is amazing in it's own right, and I like that too.

Macuna is hands down one of my favorite supplements. The elevated mood, clarity, and sleep can't be beat. There are way more studies that show the benefits over the few that talk about the possible side effects. I experience all of the benefits and have blood work to prove it works.

Part of the benefit of getting annuals and regular blood work, is knowing that I am not just guessing.

Pops- have you read up on matcha green tea? Pretty interesting information on the strength of the anti-oxidants and energy levels.

Diet is key to losing weight! There is no "miracle" supp that will help you if you eat like crap. 70% diet and 30% exercise. I personally haven't used the Animal Cuts yet but previously i trimmed off a fair amount of excess fat using USP Labs OxyElite Pros and being dilligent!
