That sucks man, it has happened to me as well. They see a nice car and they just have to take things from it. Just thinking about it pisses me off considerably.

The oem+ look ...GTI emblem added

I made a Polished intake with an old tube the shop had layng around. Thanks to CTS for cutting it Supplying the right size silicone peices. Bought a smaller K&N to tuck away behind battery

I got a friend of mine to spray my other oem Grill black for me. Thanks Tyson

Some New stickers:--A few were made for me

Lawrence Photography---chek it out on facebook or instagram= Thats me

Car went off to body-shop due to some Vandalism While it was in there I had them Shave the Rear Emblem off , the hatch was being re-painted so it was ideal time to do so. I think its way cleaner!

Picked a set of FSI coilpacks and IE adapters for the car today. So far they feel like they make the car more smooth and less jerky. Im excited to test when the car is cold to see how different they might be.

Gotcha, but how come you didnt want to use the whole length of that tube? you in an area of of heavy rain/winter? it looks like a tight fit in between the side wall of the car and the battery. looks good though.

Yeh I live in Vancouver Canada, we are lucky if it doesnt rain everyday . I decided against the snorkel cause so many guys having issues with it. My custom made one comes just shy of where the water runoff would go, that way the tube or filter doesnt get wet

Thanks, no problem pm me if ya have any more questions

Small goodies I added this week

Old school part from one of the guys that used to work at the dealer. Had billet oil caps made with oem insert. It is not a cover its a legit Oil cap!

06f 971 824C= part number for that sleek and sexy coilpack wiring sheathing. Looks dope i just installed it. Must have for 1.8t guys especially if your running the fsi coils

Also Caved in and decided to buy a MK4 R32 steering wheel, it was used and a bit banged up. I took some Lexol leather cleaner and cleaned it up really well. Then decided to die the faded and scuffed spots with some shoe creme/ polish. It came out quite nice actually, I will continue to condition it over the next week and see how it turns out.

My thought was to sell the oem gti 337 wheel. Get my good friend Tim at Velocity Upolstery to Recover the R32 wheel to look like the oem 337. So recover it in Perforated Leather, red stiching and also to eliminate the R symbol. Possibly running no emblem or replacing it with a gti badge from the mk5/mk6 wheel to keep the theme. OEM+ always!

Here is an example of Tims wheel he did for his wagon,

preview of the rest of his wagon

I thought I was doing a good job cleaning mine up. My 337 looks like **** next to yours, digging the r32 leather inserts on the doors, might copy you if can find the right deal. Also, love the arm rest! Love the whole thing.

I was busy over the past week with swapping some front end parts. I installed last minute to be ready for Great Canadian VW show. My old bumper was a aftermarket so the fitment was just not what I wanted.

    New Front OEM Bumper
New 0em gti 337/20th ann lip

I also ordered a new Autotech rear sway bar and will be installing it once it arrives

Will post pics of the new fitment after the show

You're doing a fantastic job with this. I don't agree with some things, but mostly

Keep it up! Bringing it to OC? (yea, I know it's far, but plenty of west coasters make the trip to H2O)

Curious what you dont agree with?, as most of it is Oem+ with attention to detail. For My daily I consider is pretty clean and well put together! I wanna know input is okay

As for H20 if I were to ever come out to that show the corrado would be taken not the mk4.

Video was taken last year before the new Porsche gt3 seats and harnesses went in.

I have noticed your excellent attention to detail Personally, I just don't like the engine covers and the "minister of fresh" stickers. Especially the stickers... But damn, that 'Rado looks nice! Though that would be a ballsy trip! 6000+ miles in a corrado? Better have a chase vehicle!

    Thanks

The sticker is only on the front windsheild and its my nickname based on my extreme OCD for cleaning cars and making them as mint as I can lol.

As for the engine covers I never run the big custom one that covers the engine, its strictly a show peice. I find it gets way to hot to be able to run it and there is nice goodies under there now so might as well show them off It seemed like a good idea at the time to spray them while they were in the booth. I keep the battery and lower cover on full-time as it looks way cleaner with those.

Today I decided to do a few things at the 145,000km mark
    New Crank Sensor
    New fuel Filter
    Clean the Maf
    New Coolant Temp sensor
Topped up the battery water level
New Dipstick- old one crumbled when I pulled on it this morning
New Led trunk light- stock one was pissing me off could never see in trunk at night

Got sick and tired of looking at old lower steering column that was scratched to hell so replaced with newone

Picked up new door pull to replace old one

Also Picked up a Rear Autotech rear sway bar from Pgperformance.com they had a sale going on for 200$ + tax

    New Fuel Pump

Installed this today and have yet to go on a lengthy drive. However I do notice that the springs from the cable ends rubs on the end weight which is why all them shed their coating.

I acquired this used piece from another local dubber and tried to clean it up and bit and make it black. Looked awesome before installing....

    \

also switched out the black dv vlave and went with polished 007 forge DV instead

    \

Over the winter few things I wanna do:

Refinish my bbs with possible new hardware
Try picking up another set of rims just cause
maybe source out a set of jetta dash vents
new shift knob, either mk6 -6speed
re-wrap my r32 wheel to make it look like oem 337 , perforated with red stitching
    new tires for bbs
    spacers for the longbeaches

possible jcaps for washer bottle and power steering

Not sure how I feel about them yet , they might take some getting used to

also picked up a full set of OEM BBS Rs bolts for when I fully refinish them

    Thank you Sir!

It is time to start refinishing my BBS Rs`s yet again ---I got tired of looking at a few crappy rusty bolts and it bothered me i didnt make the lips 100% when i refinished them the first time.

This time I started by taking the air out of all 4 tires and took all the bolts out except 4 per wheel to keep it together snug. The Previous owner used a Hell of alot of silicone on these so I know its quite alright.
