I bought my 2004 Black Magic Pearl R32 at Valenti Volkswagen in Mystic, Connecticut Dec 8, 2008 as aaCPO. Traded my MK5 2006 BMP GTI. Since then its been through many changes and some im alittle ashamed of. I bought the .:R 32 with 64,644 miles. Not going to lie, it sounded flipping amazing. I was sold haha.

EDIT: The original Thread how my car came to Be.

    http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...k4*gasp*-Style.

Sound off at WiTW 2012, Fontana Damn, NC

Fontana Village Resort, with Vdubbpeach, Mike@lindenVW WiTW 2012

So this is going to be my setup, once completed

    Verdict Motorsports Cog Pulleys
    Schrick 272/264 Camshafts
    C2 9-1 Headspacer
United Motorsport STG 2 E85 Flex Fuel Tune
    Siemens 870 cc Injectors
    4" Maf
HPA Integrated Liquid cooled air to water intercooler
Supersprint Headers mated to 2 HFC's to a 3.5 custom exhaust
    Sachs SRE Performance Clutch

    Target HP Goal w/0 E85 400ish , Wish E85, 450 Wheel HP

I call this a Rebuild thread because ive replaced so many things its sickening and adding more cool upgrades. There has been a lot of hands on this car throughout the years and i want to mention some people that have been pretty influential at getting where i am today.

Matt Zwilling, CT Eurospec Crew, Dad, Tom@IMS, Jeff Atwood, Jeremy Peach, Jim and Suze, Bill George, Josh (Pdubs), Lui, Gabe@BWPerformance, Jesse, Greg, Mike@LindenVW and many many more. Ill update this as i remember everyones names haha Hope you enjoy watching as much as i will be.

Once Matt brought this to GAPs attention, they emailed MEYLE and was able to get their ball joints revised with a flanged Nut! WIN.

Interesting! I bought some TRW branded ball joints a couple of years ago for my TT Quattro (same as R32) and I noticed they had the wrong nuts on them too.

I noticed that it looked like the nut could potentially pull through so I stopped and contacted the supplier and they sent me the correct flanged nuts. Something for everyone to check when doing ball joints as it looks like other manufacturers may be making the same mistake.

Thanks Guys, So To touch a little more on the Superhcarger Build. Everyone seems to be upset i went with a Vortech SC instead of the Rotrex. Frankly i like the Vortech better and had a first hand ride behind the wheel of Bills car with the V2 and frankly got a little Chubb, HAHA

Alright so this is my setup I have all parts purchased except HPA kit in hand and 3 inch exh. )

    -Vortech V2 S trim w/ 928 motorsports Impeller

-VF V1/2/3 Mounting Bracket w/ 8 Rib AUX Drive pulley. I am trying to work a deal to get Cogged pulleys and a belt. More to this will come when the build actually begins

    -Air to Water Intercooler

    - Shcrick 272/272 Camshafts (already installed) ( I had purchased 268/264 cams but im curious what kinda power this will make if any with the blower and CVP Ill swap the 268s in afterwards if Power diff isnt great

-United Motorsport E85 Software ( currently has CAM Tune )

    - SuperSprint Headers

-2 Hiflow 300 cell Cats to 3inch custom cat back

HP GOAL is set to 350-400 AWHP. Should be more than attainable if Bill made 400 with his simialr setup.
