I think you should keep the steelies and use the hubcaps in my garage for total sleeper status. I want to see your car throw the hubcaps off when you hit the gas.

Good story dude... I know you missed your car-- although it might be starting to feel like an abandoned older toy now that you have the new car...!

      Moar pics please!

Hey now, those are my steelies you're talkin 'bout. They cannot help that they are ugly and mismatched.

thanks im still finalizing the finishing touches on the wheels. Prob going to lay black paint in the center caps to bring out the machined pattern, then polish the face to have it really pop. Should come out well and shouldnt mess up the paint in the grooves.

this was an exciting week for me... wheels should be done by the weekend, i ordered new drip rail seals, and... i fixed this.....

Those of you with mk2 vr's can respect this. I was able to wire in my tach to work without having to swap to the hideous mk3 cluster. The best part is it only cost me about 10$ worth of supplies!
I know its a small detail but i cannot explain how much i missed my tach and how much it botthered me having a beautiful car and something so simple not functioning. So it was a good week.

Everytime I drove past Radio Shack I said to myself "stop in there and get the stuff to fix the tach" but I never did.
