$10 for premium UNLIMITED data. Plans still come in MUCH cheaper than any other carrier.

as long as you're on their network.

otherwise, there's something like a 500MB limit, after which you get hit with overages per MB... which work out to some pretty big numbers if your overages come in at a gig or more.

this is important info, considering they sold off nearly half of their network not that long ago (they retain about 60%).

also, this "premium" business, is it what they used to refer to as 4G for WiMax coverage? if so, is it still mandatory to pay if you want something like an Evo?

because if it is, and there's no wimax where you are (there isn't a lot of wimax coverage), you're basically paying for something you can't use. and additionally, that you'll never be able to use because they stopped wimax build out last year.

or is that logic completely inaccurate?

It's 300 mb limit. They won't get you for overages, but they will cancel your contract if you do it often or go over by a lot of data. Happened to my mother, and a good friend of mine

It's Premium data and is for all smartphones now, not just WiMax phones.

yea my wifes phone has the $10 4g fee. which is bs since we dont get that in our area. but even then $50/month is STILL cheaper than 69.99 which was the public plan with unlimited everything.

thats why im still on my tp2. its the only 'smart' phone that doesnt get hit with tthe bs charges.

Oh wow sooner than I thought! I thought it was going to be sometime in June, great news to hear. I'm actually getting the new Evo LTE next month for my GF. It's her birthday today and that is what she wants for her birthday present. I was checking it out on you tube looks pretty impressive. But I myself still waiting for the SG3 to come out and see what that is all about, and I also want to take a look at the new Iphone 5 as well. Like I said decisions, decisions.

My understanding is that the EVO LTE won't hit the store until June.

SG3 announcement May 3 in London.. release date unknown. Will be the best thing since sliced bread and relegate all other smartphones to the land fill.

Don't know yet until we see internals. 1080p screens are nice but what's gonna be powering it will need a lot of power and not drain a lot of battery.

Yea, I too am curious to see if it comes with 1080p, and if there will be enough juice to allow it to surpass the competition in terms of performance, since no one else is driving so many pixels.
