Hi, i want to trade my b5 passat 2000, silver color, v6 30v, 2.8 L manual transmission, FWD, sedan 153k miles ( all jersey not nyc), for a running eurovan.
The good about the car:
very few scratches ( jersey car)
manual transmission shifts well ( really kicks butt)
engine is in good order
the car is fast
starts and runs every day
door locks have been fixed by soldering the contacts on the mechanisms, so you don't have to do that yourself.
it comes with a spare fuel pump.
zero rust on the body, except for hood ( read below )
i get 32 mpg on the highway easy
it has a leather grey interior
i reran vacuum tubing under the hood
i replaced dr side engine mount
all miles came from jersey
new front pads and rotors( i just replaced coz i had an extra set, not because the car really needed them).
t belt was done at 130k miles
The bad about the car:
the previous owner hit a dear with it, so there is a slights dent on the hood.
the headlights are slightly different in color
3 tires need to be replaced
the drivers seat is worn out
the rest of the seats need a cleaning
cigaret lighter keeps on blowing the fuse, so the lighter needs to be replaced
only one valet key to the car
check engine light is on due to 1- it needs a dr side cat converter
2 it needs one oxygen sensor
3 it needs the sai pump with hoses
4 it needs 2 combi valves
LAST TIME I WAS LOOKING INTO REPAIRING THESE THINGS THE QUOTE ON THESE PARTS WAS 120 FOR ALL THE PARTS., EXCEPT FOR CAT.
What i want the van to be like:
1-running
2-no serious rust issues
3-no serious transmission issues
4-no serious engine issues (knocking etc) i understand if the valves are ticking is not a bigy.
