Will the carriers off a mk2 work for the Calipers. I bought the vented rotors and pads but I think the carriers are different. I don't want to put the 10.1.
    Thanks for any info.

8v MKII has a caliper carrier integrated into the bearing carrier. 16v MKII has the wrong spacing for the carrier... Neither would work for a Fox.

I believe you can just switch to the vented rotors and use the matching pads.

I think you have to use MK1 calipers & brackets. Been a long time since I did that mod on a fox.

I know for A2's, you can just swap the rotors and pads. Pads are thinner IIRC.

I realize this. I was asking the OP where he got his vented rotor from, an 8V or 16V. If he got it from a 8V, he needs to use the caliper from the 8V to go along with the smaller vented rotor. If he got 16V rotor he needs the Scirocco caliper.

He was not very clear in his original post.

Whats going on Kyle, I got the part numbers from BFI and ordered the parts from work.
I called BFI and asked and they were not sure if it was a direct swap. So I figured i would ask the Guru's of the fox world. Sorry for the response just a ton of work.

Browsing around for a set of mintex red box- Do the mk2 golf pads fit into the fox calipers? Or could someone provide a link to a set?

They are not a direct swap. Different carrier as I thought.
I'm going to let BFI know about this so they can pull the numbers and correct this.
Thank you everyone for the help.
