Took delivery of my 2012 Golf R today. Originally had a 2013 RB 4 door on order, but the financing and price on the 2012 was too good to pass up.

Anyone know if Martens VW is mod-friendly? Time for the 10k checkup/oil change. Am at apr stage 1+ with the vwr intake.

I have trolled these forums for a few months prior to my purchase just to get the feel for the likes/dislikes. I purchased a 4 door RB with nav and sunroof on Saturday and am having a clear bra and tint put on next Friday.
Anyhow, hopefully there will be plenty advise on mods etc. as I have been without my modded 335 for 9 months now!

New R owner here!
2012 Rising Blue 2dr loaded
I picked it up about a month ago and already put 3k mikes on it! I've owned quite a few cars in the past and I have to say this car is a blast to drive with a great balance between power and comfort. I'm currently looking for a reasonably priced shop to detail my car and install a clear bra. I've also been searching for a dealer that's mod-friendly so please keep me informed of reputable shops and techs.

Anyone know a good shop that does powder coating in this area? I'm in Frederick, but obviously willing to drive to someone reputable. I want to powder coat the stock wheels gloss black.
