Hello everyone, this is my first post. I have a 2010 Passat 2.0T with DSG of course. I was wondering in the morning when accelerating for the first couple of yards when engine is cold you let up on the gas and accelerate again thre is a clunk. Also when turning and giving it gas it does it too. All other shift patterns are smooth. The only thing weird is when driving on the freeway for about 20 minutes, from a standstill it jumps a couple of times before rolling. I just wanted to know if that clunking is normal thanks.

Mine clunks, rarely, only when the engine is still warming up. I don't think it's anything to be worried about, it's just grabbing the next gear (allbeit not very graceful). After the car is completely warmed, it won't do it any more.
///KCH2O ”VDUBkill 2:0 – The path of 2.0T is beset on all sides by the injustice of the speedtrap and the Plague of the Prius drivers. But blessed is he who in the name of disparity overwhelmeth the exotic in the valley of the s-bends. And I shall strike down upon thee with great revs and furious acceleration those who attempt to obstruct or delay my overtaking and you will know my engine is turbocharged when I lay my powerband upon thee.”

Thanks for the reply. Yeah it only does it when cold. Then it is quiet and smooth.
