Thanks, the hardlines are done by a friend named "SWOOPS"
He does great work, and would recommend him if your looking for hardline work
It's functionality is to show the PSI levels in my tank pressure just incase of any major leaks.. the controller is hidden in the oem dash cubby which is closed when driving.
I went with an electronic bar pressure PODI gauge. I'm very happy with the quality and fitment with the pod itself, because it is OEM as it gets
When you see the car this weekend, you will see the pod is like a boost gauge offcenter so you can check the MFD screen, etc..
I had many options, but decided this would suit my needs.
Sorry for the late Update... so far:
Wheels mounted and Balanced and Cambered
GTI aluminum pedals installed.
Rear wiper Delete completed.
Removed the Jetta & TDI badges.
Added Jcaps in the motorcompartment.
Air ride is completely done with frame notch and hardlines.
(Paint work is next) - pics to come in the next couple weeks.
Looking good; I like the horns. Should get pedestrians out of the way when you're in a parking lot.
Where are you sourcing your OEM fabrics from?
The reason I ask is that the "black" trunk carpet in my '09 JSW has strands of navy blue fibers mixed in with the black fibers, which creates a "rich" black tone.
I found black carpet that was close from an automotive upholsterer a few years back, but it would be nice to the OEM carpet direct from VW.
Same goes for the fabric that's used on the A-pillars... I'm going to be making A-pillar pods for my 4" midranges this summer for better sound staging.
I don't have blue strands in the black fabric, but it's superthick and matches well for my needs
Oh well, I thought you might have an inside lead to actual VW OEM stuff; when I bought my fabrics, they hadn't released any materials for my interior color scheme to the shops yet.
I don't know if VW ever does, since it seems like everyone ends up using 3rd party materials, which can be close, but always seem a little off.
