It's hard to look at.. but it has to be ugly before it gets beautiful they say....

Nice progress! Planning on getting some projector headlights? They really help class up the front end

Been doing some research.. not sure what route I want to go yet to be honest.

The car is going to have the following completed:

Shaved Front Bumper (Side markers) (Front plate holes from the dealer)
Filling the Notch in the Hood "Correctly" meaning we will be taking it down to bare metal, doing metal fabrication, and rolling a bead to match the factory lines of the hood.

Complete Votex Kit. (Front, Sides, Rear Valance)

Rear Hatch Emblem is going to be cut out and shaved.

Rear reflectors will be color matched.. I decided not to shave this part on the votex rear because it would crack because of where the placement is on the rear bumper.. it's not really apart of the bumper, it's on top.

Engine Cover, Interior Trim, APR intake, Europlate.

The picture I posted above was from today... Metal fab is going to take atleast a week and a half and then paint and installation.. It's a lengthy project but the quality is what I'm after.

looks awesome, particularly the badgeless front end

when you posted the pic of the front lip taped in place, i thought you were going to mold in the lip. it would make the front end so smooootthh. future project?

The votex kit is not like the mkv where it clips into place.. the front lip on the JSW as well as the mk6 are applied on top of the front fender.. thought about it.. but wouldn't look right

I have a OEM Votex Kit for the wagon... The rear valence comes part of the rear diffuser. I purchased it from a dealer online that had one in stock in Alabama I believe

Thanks! that's what I was afraid of...I have the kit and ordered as a dealer option...they claimed the "kit" was missing the insert as it was not available...

Nice wheels, but they only work on air... IMO of course.

So to translate, they only work on air when the car is parked, not when actually driving.

They look like the 1552 wheels, tarmac's I believe... Seems weird to me how many people would all want the same look, and then other wheel manufactures do it as well.

To me they remind me of the F40 wheels.

The company is 3SDM, and they are replica wheels

They are an up and coming wheel manufacturer from the UK. (Forge Motorsports) is the largest distributor as of right now I believe.

I do alot of Decal work for them, and think that the fitment is aggressive and with the right drop makes the car look great for the price!

I have a few sets of 3 pc wheels, by far these set my wagon off nicely.

I agree they set the wagon off nicely for sure, I love the rear concave and the offset looks to be mm perfect. I almost ordered a set but it's a good thing I decided not too, haha
