Nice one Dave and man that garage brings back memories of when I used to work at Barrier and park my old mk4 GLI in that garage and wash it for free whenever I felt like it

If didn't have my aircooled I'd have picked this up. I can't imagine anyone better to enjoy this car! Have a blast and I'll have to try and make it down to Berliner again.

Thanks for the contact. Drove it home today. Couldn't be happier.

i got the glass installed in my rabbit for 285...be carefull with quotes, mk1 rocco glass is totally not available anymore besides random single pieces in a warehouse...I know probably 100 people that got quotes (some up in the 800-1000 range!) and when it came time to order they always got a call that the glass was NLA

Last I was looking, finding something in a used car was the only option. Check the rocco forum though, iirc they got a group buy together to have some new glass made a couple years back

Thanks for the heads up. I have a few PMs out on people that are selling glass. I'd rather have OEM glass, but in the end, I might have to pay out the nose for it.

Also found out the Speedo is broken, and look at what I just happen to come across in my bin of rare gauge clusters...

Five bucks says it doesn't look like that when you eventually get it installed.

Wow, I didn't realize you got it for so cheap. That's awesome! I have a friend over near Yakima that has two MK1 roccos so I'll see if he has a bead on any glass. I know they are hard to come by.

      Great buy.

Please do. Let me know. I'm looking for the following:

Windshield (prefer OEM factory, but will take anything right about now)
      OEM Gas cap, non locking
Factory sliding ragtop wind deflector (smoked plastic kind)
      Rear hatch struts
OEM wheel arch trim (1 front, 1 back)
      Factory working radio

Tonight I got a battery and the car fires up right away now.
