I've been a lurker for a little while, but haven't posted much at all.
About a month and a half ago my '07 Wolfsburg was totaled by some hipster in a Volvo 240.
Pic:
Picked up the replacement a few weeks after that:
A CPO '10 Wolfsburg with only 7500 miles on it. The new car is far better than the old, with the GLI suspension, the 2.0T rather than the 2.5, and the DSG. I'm not too sure what the plans are for the car, but it won't be for a while.

Hi. I'm new to mkv's and just picked up this rabbit.
I've managed to get some used parts from some good people:
I'm not sure if I want to "stance" my rabbit or build a race car... Do you guys know of any good intakes/exhausts they make for the rabbit?

Nah, I have a dump with a GTI rear... I'll be shaving the cutout and keeping the gti lower... The rabbit one sinks in too much on the sides...
R32 = big butt
Rabbit = little butt
GTI = average butt
lol.
Actually... I'm on a GTI setup with adam's rotors and Boxster Brembos up front. Kicked a ton of weight and kept the braking power (if not improved it...). As long as the brembos hide behind the wheels, nobody will ever know they were there.![]()

Yeah it is odd how that little white line is something they can't go over, but it is what it is. I like the difference in the cars look either way. But the side markers are after the chip and lowered then rims and side markers. Just for my timeline...

What is MKV??Do I drive?
Good ice breaker for n00bz. Welcome to the forums guys.

Allow myself to introduce myself:
My wife owns a MKV and I own a MKII. I am an Aries who enjoys long walks on the beach, hugging, and waxed grundles. As hobbies I enjoy Volkswagens, stamp collecting, and Jello.
