Great to meet you guys! we certainly made the best of it despite mother nature raing and snowing on us, we were thinking of suggesting to everyone that should there be rain even when its warmer that we have an alternate spot at the new parking garage thats on lakeshore in burlington just before brant street behind the esso gas station, its free and open and is dry, plus 7 levels and a open roof perfectly lit and great for keeping dry and taking pictures!

Sorry I did not make it weather was turning me off but great to see the photos of the ppl that did make the trip down

Should be an event for sure.

We had some discussions yesterday and thought it would be a good idea to have a facebook group so people can get notifications immediately on their smartphones and what not of event changes, meets ect. We think it would bring everyone somewhat closer as not all of us check on the thread regularly nor do we get notifications unless "subscribed".

As well we considered potentially having stickers so any other vw people/enthusiasts who see our cars could potentialy join the club and in return have bigger meets ect. The reason I like this is because I dont think that everyone comes over to the regional forums...I know speaking from my experience ive been roaming vortex for sometime now and a few days ago was the first time I looked into this forum.

Just a few suggestions,

I don't haha, and yeah thats a good point about he regional forum thing, first time income on here was close to 9 years ago I didn't find the regional forum until like 2 years ago haha

I believe were all in the 905 area code so maybe something incorporating that like 905 VW'S or 905 DUBS or maybe just 905 and the vw symbol? Just a few ideas I got

hey guys, i missed the cruise this past monday, may i suggest we cruise to nash and hwy 8, show those jdm guys real cars? like leave the parking lot around 830? also maybe have some steel town/hammer ideas to the 905 VW idea
