    Tint?

    Wheres the best place to get tint here? I'm leaning towards getting ceramic, any suggestions?

    I just took my car to TNT the other week. Since the shop is right down the street from my job. If you do go there get the online quote it will save you like 60 bucks

    I had mine done at Al's Tinting near pearlridge, the good stuff. My buddy sent me there after he got his G35 done, he told me they were a little pricey but good. I agree on both counts, my Windows look perfect. I got Hüper Optik applied for 400 and tax, I had a little gift card help with that one from Christmas and they do have cheaper decent brands available.

    what's the tint law there? Moving in November.

    30% ................Anything lower then 30% you will not pass safety check.

    TNT Suks stay away from them they are overpriced and do poor work if you want pictures of their quality work pm your number I can text it.

    I just went to get a quote from T&T and their prices were astronomical. Has anybody tried that other place at Queen / Ward? They also sell car stereo stuff. Their quotes were waaaaay more reasonable. On the one hand I'm thinking you get what you pay for, but on the other hand, I'm sure keeping the extra cash in my wallet could do good elsewhere.

    I went to Kama'aina tinting. Got 33% (Checked by a police officer lol) for $100. Warrantied.

    I ended up at Al's... got great service there and they did a great job. Got the Hüper Optik ceramic film because not only did it have the greatest heat reduction, but the name has an umlaut lol. But seriously, now that I've had it for a couple of weeks, the higher quality film was worth the money.

    Got a quote of $440 at Al's Tinting for two frameless windows and a small rear window using Huper Optik. A bit more than what I expected. Anyone else that carries this brand?

    That doesn't seem right. How is a GTI with 5 windows cheaper than that? My 2 door was $400 and tax. I don't know that it'll help but maybe tell them the guy with the black GTI and the gift card did it for less. When I went I said my buddy with a G35 sent me, didn't even give a name, then again I didn't think I was getting any special pricing.

    Definitely seems too high for just 3 small windows. Got a quote from Tintwerz of $280 for the Solar Gard ceramic, so I might go with them.
